Green With Opportunity

A man walks into a typical commercial office building and
looks around. He sees a receptionist at the desk who asks
him to sign in before getting on the elevator.

He looks around and sees the normal hustle bustle of the
typical business day that it is. He sees people standing
around probably on a break just chatting. He sees a man with
a mop cleaning the floor. He looks around and sees a water
fountain spewing a relaxing trickle of water surround by a
nice plant arrangement. Nothing out of the ordinary . . .

He carries on with his appointment in the building and on
the way about an hour later looks closer at the vegetation
surrounding the fountain and realizes that some of the
plants don't look as health as they could. He thinks to
himself "Hmm almost a perfect arrangement."

Success in your business will not wait for you. You
have to know it's there and get after it and never ever look
back. Here's how to get there the fast way, the cutting edge
way, the never waste your money or your time way, the 2007
and beyond way.

He walks out the door, but stops mid steps and heads back
in, being the plant lover that he is, and decides to ask the
receptionist at the desk who was taking care of the plants
in the building.

She didn't know, but feeling conviction to his curiosity he
decides to investigate further.

Finding his way to the management office he asks the
building manager the same question he had asked the
receptionist, she said I think the maintenance people take
care of that, but I'm not sure.

He asks her further . . .

"Do you have office plant specialist to ensure the proper
care of your onsite plants?"

She replies no and that she didn't even know that such a
position existed.

He replies that he's actually quite fond of plants and has
been so for some time. He makes a few suggestions about how
the vegetation arrangement can be approved.

The office manager is floored.

30 minutes later he walks out as the office plant
specialist. He's paid $120 a month to take care of all lobby
plants.

Fast forward a year and he now has 22 contracts with several
office buildings of the same type as wells as 61 smaller
contracts he's picked up from the actual professional
offices within those buildings.

He loves it. He walks in to each office he has a contract
with and spends about 5 minutes taking care of the plants
for each account and then finds his way back to doing the
same thing on either a biweekly or monthly basis depending
on the type of vegetation in the account.

He looks at his financial statement and realizes that he's
making a huge sum of money in his eyes, that is over
$112,000 year, just doing what he loves on his own time, and
it all started with a little curiosity and the intention to
help.

Everyday people walk by those plants and it wasn't until the
day that he walked in the door and noticed room for
improvement that anyone even took notice of improving the
care of those plants.

He does his work with pride and get's paid well for it.

And at the end of the he always seems to ask himself "Why am
I the only one doing this? Don't others notice that there
are plants in office building that need tending to?"

He shrugs the question off and carries on living the life of
his dreams.

Do you now see that there is opportunity everywhere, all it
takes is a little curiosity, a keen eye, and a passion to
help to see it.

Are there little things that could be done better in your
business? That's your que!

When I saw the opportunity for network marketing on the
internet and how little real training on how to actually do
it the right way I found my place.

Not by writing a book about it, but rather seeing the value
in the opportunity to explore the possibilities. Then
testing them, validating them, and finally teaching them to
others.

And now sharing those experiences with you so that you can
benefit from the road I've walked. It's your turn for
success in your network marketing business as long as you
can see it.

And if you do it's time to get to work. Stand on my shoulders.
Now is not the time to stand on the fence. It's time to see
your success and jump into it. Here's how . . .

This story should be printed and left where you will see it often

- and then everytime you come across a project you think you cannot successfully complete read this story again.
Eight-year-old Glenn Cunningham raced into a burning schoolhouse to rescue his big brother. When he regained consciousness five hours later, his brother was dead and Glenn's horribly burned legs lay limp and without feeling. Specialists urged his parents to have Glenn's legs amputated immediately - he would never walk again - but Glenn pleaded against them. Even though the toes of his left foot were gone and the bone supporting the ball of his left foot practically destroyed, Glenn was determined to walk again.
That was the summer of 1919. One week later Glenn announced he was ready to stand up. His father lifted him out of bed, stood him upright and let go. Glenn crumpled to the floor. Every day Glenn's parents carefully rubbed his dead limbs. Every day for weeks, they repeated the lifting-falling exercise. Then one day, for a few seconds, Glenn Cunningham stood on his own.

A few days later Glenn took a few small, shaky steps. His parents kept on rubbing his legs. He ate carefully and began to push himself hard, running everywhere he went - to the fields, to the store, to school.

In 1930, with no toes on his left foot and almost missing a major bone, Glenn Cunningham set a high school record for the mile run, 4:24.7. He enrolled in Kansas University and two years later qualified for the Olympics with a United States record-setting mile of 4:11.1. Despite tonsillitis at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1932, he still finished fourth. He defeated milers around the world, repeatedly breaking his own records. In his early thirties he retired, holding the world mile record of 4:04.4.

Where is your journey taking you?

When the great automotive industry leader Henry
Ford was asked what contributed most to his success,
he said, "I keep my mind so busy thinking about what
I want to accomplish that there's no room in it for
thinking about the things I don't want."

What it is that you are focusing your time and
energy on?

Are you focused on the details of life while life
passes you by?

Or are you captivated by the glitz and glamour of
the latest fad, failing to see that being
sidetracked can lead to less than desirable results?

Don't let life pass you by.

THIS IS YOUR ONLY CHANCE AT THIS!

I want to help you get focused, stay focused and
have the kind of success and achievement you
so richly deserve.

I've discovered a formula that will keep you on the
path to success and achievement despite all of the
problems and hurdles that may come your way.

Rex

P.S. When you embark on this journey called life,
wouldn't it be beneficial if you had someone who
could show you the best way to get there?

P.S.S. Also, you need to set aside some time and
listen to what a multi-million dollar business
owner, as well as the #1 coach for Nightingale-Conant,
and two Phd's have to say about...

* The keys to success

* How to uncover hidden barriers

And

* How to remove obstacles that are
keeping you from being a Peak Performer.

You've got to listen to them and hear what they discovered
about themselves.

What was their key to success nobody is talking about?

Specialized Knowledge the The Secret to Riches?

Here are two important facts you need to know:

-- Fact 1: When wealthy people lose everything,
they usually regain their wealth again very quickly.

-- Fact 2: The key to their success is specialized
knowledge and a burning desire.

See wealthy people are no different from you and me.

They come from all walks of life and that means that
you too can accomplish anything you desire.

However, do you really want to master the Science of
Getting Rich? Do you really want to live a life full
of abundance? Can you see it, smell it, and feel it?
That's called a burning desire.

The second ingredient to success is specialized knowledge.
Mastery of any domain requires that you gain specialized
knowledge.

Have you already shared your burning desire and told people,
"You know..I want to grasp Bob Proctor's invaluable material
and study the science of getting rich."

When you do, are people going to be very supportive and say:
"Oh, what a wonderful thing. That's so smart of you. I should
also get myself together and work on improving my mindset."

Yet -- Is that what they're going to say?

Absolutely Not.

If the people around you are trying to put you down, do you
think discipline and a burning desire might be important to
stay your course?

If you told someone, "There's a process to becoming wealthy,
and I am going to learn that process," and they started
saying, "Rubbish, stick to your day job!".....are you going
to have the discipline to stick to your decision?

How many of you have already made the decision that you are
going to learn the science of getting rich? You need
to decide.

So, decide now and either go back to the way things have
always been in your life or master the science of getting
rich and start securing your gleaming financial future today.

I hope to see you on the other side.

PS: Do you think those same people that are telling you that
you shouldn't study the process on how to get rich have a lot
of money? The answer is No. Yet ask a wealthy person about
how they got to where they are -- and they will tell you --
it's a mindset!

Ever had a Mrs. Field’s Chocolate Chip cookie? Ymmmm…!

When you think of Mrs. Fields, do you see a grandmotherly type woman churning out trays of cookies in her hot kitchen. Think again. Let me tell you the story of Debbi Fields…
Debbi was only 19 years old when she reached a cross-roads in her life. She was married to a well-known Economist and Futurist, and had quit work to play the role of a conventional wife. She hadn’t expected her decision to deal such a hard blow to her self-esteem. No one seemed to think she had anything to offer – including herself.
One night, at a party, things reached a head. People were falling all over themselves to talk to her husband – they were treating her like she was an absolute zero, walking away from her in most conversations. Until the party host approached her… She tried to talk to him, answering his barrage of questions. She tried to appear sophisticated, urbane and clever – failing miserably at her attempt to be something she wasn’t.
Her host finally asked, “What do you intend to do with your life?
Debbi was a nervous wreck at this point. She blurted out, “Well, I’m mostly trying to get orientated.”
Her host looked at her with digust. “The word is oriented,” he snapped. “There is no such word as orientated. Why don’t you learn to use the English language?” He spat out his words and walked away.
Well, you can imagine… Debbi was crushed. She cried all the way home. But somewhere, in the middle of all the tears, she made a decision. She would never, never, NEVER let something like that happen again. She was done living in someone else’s shadow. She would find something of her own.
As she pondered what she was going to do she thought back to the old boat motor that had accumulated dust in her family’s basement when she was growing up – her parents and 5 girls in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom home. Her father was going to buy a boat for that motor someday. He never did, and to Debbi that motor became a symbol of putting off dreams until it’s too late to achieve them.
Debbi had watched her father die with his dreams unfulfilled. She didn’t want the same thing to happen to her. She would do something.
But what?!
The only thing Debbi was really good at was making cookies. She had been baking and experimenting with recipes since was 13. She’d add more butter; use less flour; or try different kinds of chocolate. She’d finally hit on a recipe she believed was ideal. Her cookies were soft, buttery and crammed with chocolate chips.
She realized she had to use her gifts so… Debbi decided to open a cookie store. Every single person in her life told her it wouldn’t work. No one believed in her.
It didn’t matter. On August 18,1977, when Debbi was 20, she opened her first store. No one came. By noon she was desperate. She stared at the empty store and decided if she was going to go out of business, she would at least do it in style.
Debbi loaded up a tray of cookies and went out in to her shopping arcade, trying to give away cookies. No one would take them. She figured she had nothing to lose at this point, so she headed out to the street. She begged, pleaded and wheedled until people finally took her samples. She smiled as their faces lit up.
She went back to the store and sold cookies to the people who had followed her wanting more. By the end of the day she had sold $50 worth. The next day she sold $75 worth.
The rest is Cookie History…
Debbi Fields is now the owner of over 600 stores – with sales in the multi-millions. She is also the mother of 5. She did indeed find something of her own!
You will face obstacles. You will face people who don’t believe in your dreams. So what? It’s YOUR life. It will become what YOU decide to make it.
Debbi Fields shared this in a speech she gave: “Whatever you do in your life, you have to be absolutely passionate about it.”
Debbi was passionate about cookies. Passionate about excellence. Passionate about living with no regrets.
Take some time to think about what you are passionate about.. Make a list. It might be long. It might be short. What are you MOST passionate about? What will create the greatest joy and success in your life if you decide to do it? What will you most regret if you don’t do it?
Right now – TODAY – you have gifts that can make a difference in how you live your life. How will you use them? What will you do? It’s up to you.
Choose to have a great day!

There are no hopeless situations; there are only people who have grown hopeless about them.” Clare Boothe 1903-1987, Author

Wednesday, July 25, 2007

Everyone knew it couldn’t be done.

Roger Bannister had no real motivation to prove them wrong. The young Englishman loved to run but from the time he was a child he also had a passion to be a doctor. This was the passion that drove him. His parents were unable to afford a University education so it was up to him to make it happen.

He knew early on that to achieve his dream of being a doctor he would have to be exceptional – so he set about being exceptional. His studies were paramount but that didn’t mean he couldn’t improve his track skills by running to and from school. While he was on his way to earning a scholarship from Oxford University, he was also gaining a name for himself as a runner.

“It is physically impossible for a human being to run a mile in under 4 minutes.” This statement was the accepted wisdom of the time during the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. Runners tried, but failed, proving the words of athletes and medical doctors – cementing a belief in runners minds that it couldn’t be done.

Roger didn’t set out to prove them wrong. He simply loved to run and he was fast. He was also learning a lot about the human body in his studies at Oxford. The day arrived when he was firmly convinced it WAS possible for a human being to run the mile in under 4 minutes.

His decision to be that person was formed by a humiliating defeat in the 1952 Olympics. In order to redeem himself he decided to break the world’s record for the mile. No one believed he could do it.

Adding to his challenge was the fact he was now a full-time Medical student and he could devote only 45 minutes a day to training. People scoffed at the idea he could accomplish such a wild goal but Roger believed slow and steady training would allow him to break the record. He painstakingly researched mechanical aspects of running, and developed scientific training methods to help him achieve his goal.

His opportunity came 2 years later – on a blustery day with 25 MPH gusts of wind to hamper his efforts. It didn’t look promising. So what? He had trained. He was ready. He believed it could be done.

So he simply went out and did it. Roger ran the race of his life, breaking the tape and collapsing as the announcer delivered his time to a wildly cheering crowd:

3:59.4

Roger had done it! The world's record had been broken. Everyone of his time had been proven wrong.

Within two months his record had been broken by John Landy – proving the 4 minute mile was as much a physcological barrier as it was a physical barrier. As the years have passed the mile has been run in shorter and shorter times but it was Roger Bannister who proved the body was capable of far more than people believed.

When he was asked to explain that first four-minute mile – and the art of record breaking – his answer was simple: “It’s the ability to take more out of yourself than you’ve got.”

Did you get that?

“It’s the ability to take more out of yourself than you’ve got.”

How did Roger do it? First, he BELIEVED he could do it. He understood the size of his success would be determined by the size of his belief.

Here is where I’m going to depart from some more common thoughts that are spread around a lot today. While belief is critically important – in fact, he couldn’t have accomplished what he did without it - belief alone is not enough. It is not enough to repeat affirmations over and over to yourself, even though they are important.

At some point you have to do the work. Roger Bannister ran day after day. He researched the human body. He created scientific methods to enable him to stretch his limits. He did what it would take to fulfill his dream.

What are your goals? What do you dream of accomplishing? BELIEVE it can be done. Then do the work. Apply yourself to success. Apply yourself to excellence. Figure out what it is going to take and then go DO IT! You may have no interest in breaking a world record, but I know you have an interest in being the best you that you can be – or you wouldn’t be reading all these letters. J

Give yourself the ability to take more out of yourself than you’ve got!

Stand Tall Like The Sunflower

I find it humorous sometimes that even the most mundane occurrences can have an impact on our awareness.
My wife, daughter, and I moved into our home nine years ago and we spent a lot of time and energy in the yard to get it looking like it does today. We live on a corner, higher than street level, and the entire side of the yard is encased by a professionally built rock wall. The front of the house though is another story because instead of a wall along the sidewalk the rocks appear to be just thrown up onto the dirt as if someone were in a hurry to finish.
We did the best we could with what we had to work with and called this area our 'rock garden'. Whenever we had left over flowers or plants, Denise or I would stick them out front, just to bring some color to the area.
I still do all of my own yard work, even the dreaded weed-pulling. After putting on my knee pads I assume the position to clear the yard of weeds, even in the rock garden.
Last summer I had reached the end of the rock garden and found a tiny little plant that I could not immediately identify. I knew I didn't plant it and Denise claimed that she didn't either. We decided to let it continue growing until we could figure out what it was.
Weeks passed and as I made my way back to the mystery plant, it appeared to be a Sunflower. It was spindly looking with a tall skinny stalk and only one head on it. I decided to baby it along and weed around it. As I pulled rocks from the area to get to the weeds, I noticed something unusual. The Sunflower had not started where I saw the stalk begin. It actually had begun under a big rock and grown under and around it to reach the sun.
That's when I realized that if a tiny little Sunflower didn't let a big rock stand in its way of developing, we too have the capability of doing the same thing. Once our environment begins to see that we believe in ourselves like that little Sunflower, we can attain the same nourishment and nurturing as well.
First, we need to believe in ourselves knowing we have the capabilities in achieving our desires. Like the Sunflower, it knew it had the capability to overcome its obstacle because it trusted in the Universal Truth and had faith it would succeed.
Stand tall like the Sunflower and be proud of who and what you are and the environment will begin to support you. You will find a way to go under or around your big obstacle in order to reach your desires.

What A Homeless Man Taught Me About Life

Last night pretty late I was on the way home from taking my
younger brother to visit my sister for a couple days.

I was on the way home and right before I was about to turn
onto my street I eyed one of those guys that stands at the
stop light to wash your windshield for a couple dollars.

It was a red light and I was the only one there so it was
pretty inevitable what was going to happen.

But what DID happen completely surprised me.

I rolled down my window to tell the guy I didn't have cash
on me to pay for my windows being cleaned.

And the guy said something that completely shocked me.

He said:

"I don't mind. Don't worry about paying it will come back to
me in some way."

I said "Go ahead."

Before I rolled my window up the guy gave me a tip.

There is a stop light where I usually turn left to get home,
but it's one of those stop lights that has a green only left
turn signal. (For those of you in Europe and Asia it would
be a right only turn signal.)

I usually pay it no attention and go through when the main
light turns green, especially if it's late a night like it
was last night.

The homeless window cleaner said . . .

"Hey by the way, don't turn if you don't have the green
arrow signal. I've seen about 4 people get tickets doing
that tonight."

Wow!

That's exactly what I would have done had he not given me
that priceless tip.

So not only did I get my window cleaned, but this guy saved
me from getting a $50 ticket to boot and gave me a lesson on
life.

That lesson is . . .

Take pride in whatever you do and serve the customer at all
costs. It's the habit that counts not the vocation.

And the law of reciprocations WORKS on all levels.

That is, you do the right thing with the right intention and
you can rest assured that in some way your actions will
be reciprocated. (Sometimes in ways you might not expect.)

And I wouldn't be surprised if someday soon that fellow that
was cleaning my window was back on his feet serving on a
larger scale.

In your network marketing business, your customers are your
team members, serve them. Give them the best that you have.

The best way to this is to be a resource, not only through
knowledge, but through experience.

Here's how to get both in abundance through proper live
training and the RIGHT marketing principles that will have
your leads calling you and joining your business from all
across the globe on virtual autopilot. Go here NOW:

The Art of Listening

We’ve done an awful lot of talking about what you are supposed to say as you are presenting MPM to people. We haven’t talked very much about listening. We’re going to now because being a good listener is just as, if not more important, than knowing what to say. If you don’t know where a person is really coming from how are you going to know the right things to say to them. That comes from listening!
Mastering the art of listening will put you ahead of 90% of the people in business. Do you know how to really listen? 20% of your time in conversation should be spent asking and answering questions. The other 80% should be spent listening to what the person is saying and not saying.
You can learn more by listening, than you ever can by talking. Talk and you lose. Listen and you win.
Lots of people working to build a business do a lot of telling and selling. They spend lots of time talking about their company and their products, instead of asking questions and finding out what the prospects interests really are. Your prospect will tell you everything you need to know if you’ll just listen.
Learn how to read body language. Learn how to tell people’s energy. You can learn everything you want to know about a person in the first minute or so if you learn how to do it.
Prospects love to feel listened to. Being listened to makes the person feel special. Are you a good listener, or do you interrupt so that you feel better about yourself? Most people don’t have someone to listen to them. When they find that, it opens their mind to the person who is listening to them. Listen without judgment and criticism. It will give your contact a level of trust in you that will open their mind. Listening is critical to developing a valuable business relationship.
If you don’t listen well, you’ll miss great opportunities. Developing your listening skills is critical to your building a successful MPM business.
When you are talking to someone, really listen to them. Don’t be thinking about what you are going to say next. Make sure you hear what the person is saying, not just what you think you are going to hear. There is usually a tremendous difference. You’re going to have to teach yourself to master the art of listening.
Concentrate. Don’t hear just what they are saying. Watch their body language. What are their eyes saying? What are they NOT saying? That will tell you just as much as what they ARE saying. Listen below the surface. Listen affirmatively. Affirmative listening is listening for – not just listening to. You’re listening for what you need to know. Affirmative listening really connects you to the person you’re listening to.
There are a lot of good books about listening. Go get one of them. Read it. Study it. Make it a part of you. It will not only help you build your business. It will help you in every area of your life – in every relationship in your life.
Make use of questions. Say things like:
Can you say more about that?
What do you mean by that?
Tell me more…

Mastering the art of listening takes commitment to change. It means making a commitment to really pay attention to the person you are listening to. They will tell you what you need to know.
You already have a pretty good idea of whether you are a good listener or not. Just ask yourself honestly. If there is massive room for improvement – get with it! Your future depends

Old Man IF

We want to pass on something to you that has challenged us all.... Enjoy - and be challenged!

People who do not succeed have one distinguishing trait in common. They know all the reasons for failure, and have what they believe to be airtight alibis to explain away their own lack of achievement.

Some of these alibis are clever, and a few of them are justifiable by the facts. But alibis cannot be used for money. The world only wants to know one thing - have you achieved success?

A character analyst compiled a list of the most commonly used alibis. As you read the list, examine yourself carefully, and determine how many of these alibis, if any, are your own property.

IF I didn't have a spouse and family.......

IF I had enough "pull"......

IF I had money......

IF I had a good education.....

IF I could get a job.....

IF I had good health.....

IF I only had time....

IF times were better....

IF other people understood me.....

IF conditions around me were only different.....

IF I could live my life over again....

IF I did not fear what "they" would say....

IF I had been given a chance....

IF I now had a chance.....

IF other people didn't "have it in for me"....

IF nothing happens to stop me....

IF I were only younger.....

IF I could only do what I want....

IF I had been born rich....

IF I could meet the "right people"....

IF I had the talent that some people have....

IF I dared assert myself....

IF I only had embraced past opportunities....

IF people didn't get on my nerves.....

IF I didn't have to keep house and look after the children....

IF I could save some money.....

IF the boss only appreciated me.....

IF I only had somebody to help me.....

IF my family understood me....

IF I lived in a big city.....

IF I could just get started....

IF I were only free....

IF I had the personality of some people.....

IF I were not so fat....

IF my talents were known....

IF I could just get a break....

IF I could only get out of debt....

IF I hadn't failed.....

IF I only knew how....

IF everybody didn't oppose me....

IF I didn't have so many worries.....

IF I could marry the right person....

IF people weren't so dumb.....

IF my family were not so extravagant....

IF I were sure of myself.....

IF luck were not against me....

IF I had not been born under the wrong star....

IF it were not true that "what is to be will be"....

IF I did not have to work so hard.....

IF I hadn't lost my money.....

IF I lived in a different neighborhood....

IF I didn't have a past.....

IF I only had a business of my own....

IF other people would only listen to me....

IF * * * and this is the greatest of them all ....

IF I had the courage to see myself as I really am, I would find out what is

wrong with me, and correct it! Then I might have a chance to profit by my

mistakes and learn something from the experience of others, for I know there

is something wrong with me, or I would now be where I would have been if I

had spent more time analyzing my weaknesses, and less time building alibis to

cover them.

Building alibis with which to explain away failure is a national pastime. The habit is as old as the human race and is fatal to success!

"It has always been a mystery to me," said Elbert Hubbard, "why people spend so much time deliberately fooling themselves by creating alibis to cover their weaknesses. If used differently, this same time would be sufficient to cure the weakness, and then no alibis would be needed."

This Will Shock You Like A Bolt Of Lightning

This morning's email is not the average and with advanced
notice I suggest you pay very close attention to the words
that follow . . .

I am going to tell you something about YOUR network
marketing business that you've felt deep in your heart and
probably haven't come to the point where you are able
realize it for what it is.

You feel like you're missing something, like you're at a
disadvantage and you don't know why.

You keep doing what you're told, for me it was buying leads
month after month and calling them excited and happy
dreaming of the future organization and success that these
small beginnings will bring, but there is a problem . . .

At the end of the day nothing happens, you're right where
you started and you don't know what's holding you back.

Meanwhile you've got more dead beat leads than you know what
to do with and your credit card bill keeps getting bigger.

You're sponsor says keep on trucking and you do, but you
know something is wrong.

Doesn't hurt him that you're spending money on his or her
advice and returning nothing, so it's easy for him to just
shun you aside and say keep going, but you're getting to a
point where you just can't except it anymore.

"No this doesn't work!" is what your mind tells you as you
keep creating action without result.

Now let me tell you why . . .

Your network marketing business IS the right vehicle and you
are putting in the RIGHT amount of effort, but you're
focusing on the WRONG things.

Here is what no one told you or me about network marketing.

When you start you don't need recruits now, you need
something else.

See you began your network marketing business to make money
and to create time and income freedom, but what happened was
you spent money and all your time being abused by leads that
aren't going to join your business.

That's the exact opposite of what you got into the game for
and yet there you are right in the thick of thin things with
no idea of what to REALLY do.

Hear me well on this . . .

That thing that you need in your business is MONEY now so
that you can use it to create the leads that you can recruit
into your network marketing business so you can have money
far into the future.

THEY don't have you focus on that though do they? They say
recruit away and there is golden pot at the end.

There is, but they ain't leading 99% of us to it with what
they tell us to do.

Forget about them though, this is about you . . .

Your first focus in your business MUST be creating income
quickly so that you have the LEVERAGE to create leads that
YOU generate and that only you have access to so that you
have a pool to recruit from whenever you like.

Forget about the recruits and ask yourself "How do I create
the money I need now so that I can create the future I
want?"

And then you'll understand EXACTLY why this exists . . .

Go here now to see what I'm talking about:

Did I ever tell you how I lost my job?

I think the story will be insightful . . .

There I was minding my business and I get a call on my new
Sprint cell phone. Not a number I recognized, but I picked
it up anyways.

It was the CEO of the company I was working for with a
message.

I thought it was strange that the CEO was calling me out of
the blue, it hadn't happened before so I knew something was
up.

In a five minute conversation I was told the company was
downsizing and that I had two choices.

One to work for minimum wage or two to leave with one months
severance pay.

He called halfway into the month and said these changes were
taking place the beginning of next month.

So much for company loyalty right?

I had worked there for 2 years and that was the notice I was
given.

Sink or swim right?

Now luckily for me, and little known to him, I had an internet
business running on the side that was doing about $20,000 a
month at that point so I didn't sweat it much.

But that's how it went down.

No real security in the J.O.B. world.

The only real security you really have in life is finding
opportunity, seeing it for what it is, and going after it
with all you got.

I see no greater opportunity in this world than the merging
of the internet and network marketing.

How else can I guy make $20,000 per month on the side
working a few hours a day undetected.

Get started now no matter what position you might be in, the
truth is your future depends on it.

Here's how:

The Law of God denies man nothing.

God intended every individual to succeed. It is God's purpose that man should become great. It is God's will that man should not only use, but enjoy every good in the universe. The Law of God denies man nothing.
Man is born to be rich. The powers inherent in him are inexhaustible. Each normal person is endowed with a complete set of faculties which, if properly developed and scientifically applied, will ensure success, ever-growing success.
Man is made for progress. Every man contains within himself the capacity for endless development. Advancement into all things is the Law's great purpose. By learning to work with the Law in promoting that aim, man may build himself into greater and greater success.
All the processes of Nature are successful. Nature knows no failures. She never plans anything but success. She aims at results in every form and manner. To succeed in the best and the fullest sense of the term we must, with Nature as our model, copy her methods. In her principles and laws we shall discover all the secrets of success.
Infinite resources are at man's disposal. There are no limits to his possibilities. He focuses and individualizes the elements, forces, and principles of the whole world. He can develop a wonderful intelligence; thus, all life's questions may be answered, all Nature's secrets discovered, and all human problems solved. Nothing is impossible.
Higher faculties, remarkable talents, superior insight, and greater power are dormant in all, and by special psychological methods, these exceptional elements can be developed to an extraordinary degree for actual and practical use. Every mind can develop greatness. It is simply a matter of knowing how. True self-help, self-discovery, self-knowledge, and the proper instruction in applying one's faculties and using one's forces will advance any person. Practice will ensure efficiency; use will bring forth results. Success, therefore, is within the reach of every aspiring man.
Do you wish to succeed? You can. You possess all the essentials within yourself; all you need is to gain a right understanding of the principles and laws upon which success is based, and then to apply the right methods of operating these causes until success is earned. From Working With The Law

Conquering the Big “D”

We’ve already talked about how important it is to have a great attitude in this business! It will either make you or break you. So what happens when you get depressed? Depressed? Surely we’re not serious. Yep. We are. If you are a human being, with human emotions and feelings, there are times in this business when you are going to get depressed; when you are going to wonder if you’re out of your mind for trying to build a MY POWER MALL business; when you are quite sure you can’t take one more person saying no, or not taking you seriously. You get depressed. You’re ready to throw in the towel.
Here’s the first thing you need to know – EVERYONE feels that way at some point in time. It’s just a reality of being a human being trying to do something that is challenging. No matter how hard we work at adopting the Law of Attraction, we’re going to have a few days where we don’t do very well. Here’s the problem. If you just work at McDonalds you can still flip hamburgers even if you’re depressed. I mean, no one cares if you’re cheerful – they just want you to cook a good hamburger for them. But success in MPM depends on one factor perhaps more than any other – a positive, uplifting personality and demonstrable enthusiasm and exuberance. So what do you do if your enthusiasm resembles the final dregs in your coffee cup?
Let’s take an honest look at this thing. Maybe you are trying to give away Power Malls and receiving a series of rejections. Or you are sending E-cards and emails but not having anyone respond. If they are strangers, that’s one thing. But maybe they are your friends and family. That’s even harder to take! Or maybe you’ve signed some people up and they are still perched on the fence post like a sitting duck, instead of out there building their business the way you are. You know what? It’s inevitable. All of that is going to happen at some point in your business. Accept it. It makes it a lot easier when it happens. There is nothing wrong with you. There is nothing wrong with MPM. You are no different from a waitress offering coffee in a coffee shop. Some people just don’t care for any. You are merely sifting for those for whom the time is right. You don’t get depressed because all these things are happening. You get depressed if you choose to dwell on these factors and take them personally.
So what should you do first? Call someone who is also building a MPM business! Anytime you are grappling with concern, fear, or depression please give someone a call! We have been all the places you are going to be. We have felt all the things you are going to feel. We have fought depression and wanting to quit. Talk to us!
Now, we're talking about depression because it is a reality – but the bigger reality is that you are going to have so much FUN working your business. You are going to achieve financial freedom and build incredible relationships with people in your organization all over the country!
Do you want to know the best way to deal with Business Building Depression? ACTIVITY! Yes, we know you may not feel like it at the time. That’s the time to decide to do it anyway!! You are a very capable adult who has committed to building a business. That means sometimes you push beyond your feelings and do things anyway! Let us show you how it works. You’re feeling a little depressed, so you only talk to a couple people this week. Both of them say no. Ouch! Now you’re even more depressed! But what if you decide to talk to at least 20 people this week, or send out 50 E-cards? 60 of the 70 blow you off (I don’t think the # will ever be that high!), but 10 become MPM Members. Now – are you much caring about the 60 who blew you off? NO! You’re too excited about your 10 brand new business partners. ACTIVITY HAS CURED YOUR DEPRESSION!
Depression can’t withstand persistence. Depression will fall to consistent activity. Depression will bow its knee to the determination to NEVER QUIT!!
When you start to feel depressed….
Vow to increase your activity, then DO IT!
Call someone and share your struggles with them.
Find the greatest motivational book or tape you can and immerse yourself in it.
Call other people in MPM who are achieving success and talk to them.
Go back and watch the MPM Flash Presentation. It will reignite your dream and passion.
Your actions will follow the things you put into your mind. Depression will fall away with the ACTIVITY. And everyday you will move closer to achieving the dreams that brought you into MPM in the first place!!

Consider These...

How many times have you been discouraged because someone else didn’t see the brilliance of what you created, thought of, or wanted to do? How many times have you walked away from something because you decided it wasn’t a good idea, too?

Consider these…

The movie Star Wars was rejected by every movie studio in Hollywood before 20th Century Fox finally produced it. It went on to be one of the largest-grossing movies in film history.

As a child, Sylvester Stallone was frequently beaten by his father and told he had no brains. He grew up an unhappy loner. He floated in and out of schools. An advisor at Drexel University told him that based on his aptitude tests he should pursue a career as an elevator repair person. It’s not a bad profession but it’s certainly not where “Rocky” ended up!

Einstein was criticized for not wearing socks or cutting his hair. He didn’t speak until he was four, and didn’t read until he was seven. One observer noted, “He could be mentally retarded.”

An expert said of Vince Lombardi: “He possesses minimal football knowledge. Lacks motivation

Beethoven handled the violin awkwardly and preferred playing his own compositions instead of improving his technique. His teacher proclaimed him hopeless as a composer.

Walt Disney was fired from his job as a newspaper editor for lack of ideas. He also went bankrupt several times before he created Disneyland.

Henry Ford failed and went broke 5 times before he finally succeeded.

Louisa May Alcott, the author of Little Women, was encouraged to find work as a servant or seamstress. She would certainly never be a writer.

In 1944, the director of the Blue Book Modeling Agency, told modeling hopeful Norma Jean Baker (Marilyn Monroe), “You’d better learn secretarial work, or else get married.

So… what are your ideas? Your thoughts? Your dreams? Who cares if anyone supports what you want to do?

The important thing is for YOU to believe. For YOU to ignore the people who say you can’t do it – and DO IT ANYWAY! It takes courage. It takes persistence. It takes believing in the “voice inside” when no one else does.

Ideas, dreams and visions are planted within you because you have the ability to make them happen. You’ll learn, grow, scramble, fail, and get back up again! The important thing is to simply never give up. The people I told you about never did – and they made great things happen!

Here’s to your success!

Rex

If You Have This Under Control . . .

We’ve talked about a lot of things that are crucial to your success with MPM. All of them are important. This one is imperative. It is one of the few we can’t provide for you. Only you can produce what is needed. Only you can make sure you have it. Only you can do what it takes to keep it. What are we talking about?

Your attitude. We’re talking about your attitude. You know, our attitudes are among the few possessions that are totally ours and can never be taken from us. Houses and cars come and go, but our values and attitudes are with us forever. It is only when we continually exercise control over our own attitudes that we can manage external circumstances. Real change comes first from the inside. Our behavior naturally follows.

There will be things in life that challenge our ability to keep a positive, good attitude. There will especially be things in MY POWER MALL. Rejection can take a swipe at our good attitude. People not living up to their promises can deal a blow. Someone dropping out can be a bomb to our attitude. But only if you let it. It is up to you to determine how you will react to them.

You can't successfully perform the tasks necessary to succeed when you are depressed, especially in a business in which success results more often from attitude than ability. Many people fail simply because of their attitudes. It is virtually impossible to get people to join you in building MPM if you don’t show them enthusiasm. We can’t expect others to join us if it is obvious to them we are less than satisfied. Remember, enthusiasm is contagious.

We’ve talked about reading, listening to tapes, etc. We will bring up this subject many times because it is so key to your success. Let me give you something to think about. This was written by Charles Swindoll, a best selling author.

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill…

“The remarkable think is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past; we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I’m convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes.”

Your attitude is truly up to you. What is it going to be today?!

To Have It All

My journey of self-discovery continued, and I was expanding my sense of myself and my own identity. In many ways, I thought that I was finally starting to feel successful and happy.

I had a growing sense of well-being and satisfaction, and I adored being a mother and taking care of my son. I was enjoying my life as a single woman and investing plenty of quality time in my relationship with my son Michel. In addition, I bought a lovely, beautifully decorated four bedroom home in a wonderful neighborhood. I was making a good living, earning more and more each year. I sensed that I was on the path to my destiny of helping others.

I was feeling optimistic about life and more secure than ever as I consciously worked on developing a sense of worthiness. I was bravely facing my difficult negative emotions, learning what I could from them and actively choosing to replace them with more positive feelings.

However, there was still something missing. As much as I was making progress, I knew that I had the power within me to create so much more.

Financial worries, and fears that I might not find love again, gnawed at me. I didn't know why I was so restless and was experiencing a sense of lack. It didn't occur to me that my emotions were causing me to feel vaguely dissatisfied because they were so subtle that I often didn't recognize them. My positive feelings were there, but it was as if many of them were barely audible and I had to strain to hear them.

I felt that if I tried harder, I could "force" success and take my life to a whole new level, but I quickly found that I wasn't getting where I wanted to go, no matter how hard I worked.

Consequently, I held tightly to everything that I achieved while still being consumed by negative thoughts and feelings about what I didn't have. The success I enjoyed led me to want more - I believed that if I just made additional money, I'd be less anxious and more at peace. But the harder I worked to keep what I had and grab for more, the greater the fear I felt.

Then my income began to drop, and I frantically tried to figure out what I was doing wrong professionally. I took some necessary risks to boost business, but what I didn't realize was that by focusing on what I didn't want to experience (namely, fear, anxiety, and lack), I was holding myself back from achieving what I did want - contentment, calm, and abundance. I tried to believe the spiritual teachers and self-help experts who said that prosperity would be mine if only I'd accept it, but it felt as if I had no control over making more money. I was terrified of losing my business and my home, and I was getting sucked into a whirlpool of negativity. I questioned my self-worth and wondered how I could have the nerve to teach others about being successful. I was dangerously close to losing everything that I'd worked so hard to achieve.

Fortunately, that led me to my fourth epiphany:

"To have it all, you have to be willing to give it all up."

I needed to let go of the fear that I would lose myself if I lost my "things." I realized that if I did so, I'd truly be able to stop being so afraid. But did I have the courage to surrender it all?

The truth is that I didn't necessarily have to give up everything I had (I didn't have to relinquish my house, for example), but I understood that I had to be willing to give it all up. I had to be prepared to detach from what I owned, because by being attached to situations, I was creating powerful negative feelings. I didn't have faith that no matter what happened around me - regardless of what I might lose - I had the power to control my anxiety and fear and create happiness for myself. I was afraid that if I lost what I had, my destructive emotions would take charge of my life.

I realized that there was no reason to be possessive when it came to my material wealth if I could just have faith that everything in my life could be created again, because I'd created it in the first place. If you have the power to build, you have the power to rebuild. In my head, I trusted that money is just an outward manifestation of the abundance and wealth that's experienced within, but I had to be convinced of that in my heart. I finally understood that laboring to create the things I wanted for myself wasn't nearly as effective as focusing on creating my desired emotions. I didn't have to work or think harder; I needed to forge the positive feelings that were associated with my goals.

If I wanted to be confident, I had to create the feeling of confidence, and the universe would respond by helping me succeed. If I hoped to be wealthy, I needed to create a feeling of richness and abundance, and the universe would bring me prosperity. I understood that what I co-created might not come in the form I expected. (For instance, maybe I'd draw in new clients, but it would be through an unexpected avenue - or I'd get the money I was seeking not by acquiring additional business, but through another source.) Of course, I had to work to make the most of the opportunities that the universe presented to me, but I now knew that I didn't have to continue to frantically struggle to achieve my goals. I could attract the situations that mirrored my feelings of happiness, abundance, and confidence.

When I began to genuinely believe that I'm more than what I have - that I'm not defined by what I've achieved, and I don't have to point to material goods as evidence of my worthiness - my life started to change dramatically. I created the emotions that I wanted to feel, and the newfound power within me allowed me to grow and prosper as I'd never done before in my life.

There are two paths to success in network marketing.

1.The school of hard knocks - The path of the grizzly old man. This is where you get in the game, you take action, and you learn and pay for your mistakes from your experience. Not what I would suggest, but it will lead you to where you need to go if you truly desire network marketing success.

2. The shortcut - The path of the entrepreneur. This is where you leverage the experience and the mistakes of those that have come before you. They make the mistakes and you benefit for it. You succeed faster and than the trailblazer, because you don't have to make the same mistakes they did. It all starts with action, that's the key. You take persistent and consistent action towards your goal and as long as you don't stop you WILL get there. The only question is . . . Do you want to get there fast or do you want to get there slow? Stand on my shoulders. Here's your shortcut to internet network marketing success

Feel Lucky?

What if you could leave the 40 our a week grind for good?

Would you do what it takes to make it happen?

I don't mean answering yes, but only if it's easy. I mean
making the tough decisions we all have to make in life that
separate the losers from the winners.

The decisions give you massive abundance or by not making
them being satisfied by just getting by.

It ain't easy leaving perceived "security" for real security
in opportunity.

Do you see it? Do you feel lucky?

It's there for you for the taking and it's just a decision
to go for what you're worth and more.

It's a simple choice, and now is the time to decide. Let go
of the fear of the unknown and grab onto the opportunity at
the other side and make your dreams come true today, NOT
tomorrow.

You want to know this Law!

There is one single LAW you will want to understand as you build your business. It will not only help your MPM business – it will transform every area of your life if you use it. It’s called the Law of Attraction, one of many Universal Laws.

Universal Laws govern the Universe. They are basic principles of life and have been around since Creation. They are laws of the Divine Universe. Universal Laws apply to everyone - everywhere. They cannot be changed. They cannot be broken.

The Universal Law of Attraction (LOA) is the most powerful force in the universe. It is simple in concept but practice is necessary. However, once you "get it", there is no looking back! It will be part of you forever. The simplest definition of this law is "like attracts like." Other definitions include:

You get what you think about, whether wanted or unwanted.

All forms of matter and energy are attracted to that which is of a like vibration.

You are a living magnet.

You get what you put your energy and focus on, whether wanted or unwanted.

Energy attracts like energy

Everything draws to itself that which is like itself.

Here are some ways of expressing the Law of Attraction:

Birds of a feather flock together

Like attracts like

Whatever you want wants you

What you sow, you reap

What you put out you get back

What comes around goes around

The Law of Attraction is fun to learn and use because you are always watching, waiting expectantly for your desires to manifest. You can deliberately use this law to create your future!

This universal law is working in your life right now, whether you are aware of it or not. You are attracting people, situations, jobs and much more into your life. Whether you know it or not, you attracted MPM into your life. Once you are aware of this law and how it works, you can start to use it to deliberately attract what you want into your life – including people into your MPM business!

As you continue with your MPM business we will give you a lot of resources that will help you to fully embrace and utilize the Law of Attraction but this letter will give you a basic understanding…

How do you create your desires using this powerful law? There are just a few basic steps.

1. Get very clear on what you want. It’s important to know what you WANT; not what you don’t want. For instance, you don’t want to say, “Well, I don’t want to be poor.” You want to say, “I want to be financially free, creating $_____ per month.”

2. Visualize what you want. Choose to feel POSITIVE about what you are visualizing. Your mind will work harder to support those things you feel good about.

3. Allow It. Allow what you want to come to you by "yes'ing" your way through life. 'Just Say Yes' to abundance. 'Just Say Yes' to great relationships. 'Just Say Yes' to a healthy body. 'Just Say Yes' to work that you love. Get the picture? Your job is to simply identify what you want, get into the place where you can actually feel what it will be like having it, and then allow it to flow to you by holding your focus there.

4. Take inspired action. The Universe will open ways for you to achieve what you want. Let’s say you want 20 MPM Members in your first month. You get clear on what you want; you visualize it happening, and you say YES to it. If your focus is there, the Universe will make the way. You’ll run into just the right people. You’ll decide to do something within these Training Letters that has great results. Or you’ll think of something totally new that brings you what you want!

You must be very clear on exactly what your desire is. Focus on it. Give it all your positive energy. Feel good!

A major factor behind this Universal Law is the energy and vibrations of our emotions and feelings. Any thought you may have, when combined with emotion, vibrates out from you to the universe and will attract back what you want.

You can leave all the details to the universe. Let the Universe figure out the method of delivery, when you will receive it, etc. Now all you have to do is “Allow It.” Sounds easy, right? This can be the most difficult part to do. Be doubt-free. All you need to do is expect it. Act like you already have it. Be grateful.

And always take inspired action. If something feels right, then go ahead and do it. Taking action is an important step.

That is it! You can always be expectant of good things, your desires. Feel good knowing your desire is on its way to you.

Always expect your desires. Expect miracles.

We’ll expect with you!

Mama's Ming Vase

Pierre was only 13 years old when his mama taught him a lesson he has never forgotten…
I was thirteen, good-looking, a magazine model, and somewhat confident in my appeal to girls – perhaps more than somewhat confident… I was arrogant and not always kind. My mama, watching me grow from a boy to a man knew she needed to teach me a lesson.
I lived in a beautiful home, full of exquisite art and antiques. Mama's Ming Vase held a special place in our art collection. I knew it had been produced during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) in China. I knew it was a highly prized and valuable piece. I knew she loved it. I also knew I was always to be very careful not to break it.
The event that stands out in my memory began with a conversation in the kitchen. "Pierre," my mama said, "How you treat your mother is how you will treat your wife." I was listening, and I've never forgotten her words, but evidently she wasn't sure her thirteen year old son had gotten the message. She gazed at me for a few moments, and then turned and walked from the kitchen.
When she reappeared she was holding her treasured Ming vase. Without saying a word, she held it up, fixed me with her gaze, and then dropped it.
I watched, stunned and speechless, as her precious vase shattered on the floor around me. "Mama!" I finally managed to gasp.
"Now, Pierre," she said calmly and quietly, "I want you to pick all the pieces up. I'm going to get some glue."
I was down on my knees instantly, still reeling from watching the priceless vase fall from her hands – knowing I would never forget the sight of it breaking all around me – pieces of clay dug from the banks of Chinese rivers over 600 hundred years ago. What could have possibly possessed my elegant mother to do such a thing?
Once I had gathered up every shard of glossy sided clay, I laid them on the table. They shimmered in the kitchen, the light playing off the beautiful colors that had minutes before been part of an exquisite piece of art. I stared at them and then looked at my mother – waiting for an explanation.
Mama held up the glue and then handed it to me. "Now, I want you to glue the vase back together." I stared at her, and then wordlessly began to do as she asked; trying to put together the puzzle of pieces to resemble what had once been.
She watched my futile attempts for a while and then said, "Pierre, even if you were to successfully put this vase back together again, there will always be cracks. It will never be as it was before. What was once a rare, beautiful piece of art becomes a piece of worthless clay."
She stopped to let those words sink in. I was still grasping to understand why she had done it. "Once it is all back together," she continued, " were you to drop it again, there would be even more cracks if you tried to glue it again." She paused for a long moment, allowing me to imagine just what the vase would become if I continued to break it.
"Son, the time would come that even though you were to continue to glue it together, pieces would be lost, the cracks would become jagged edges, and it would cease to resemble a vase."
Knowing I was still stunned by what had happened, she drove her point home. "Son, relationships are like that. Every time you speak unkind words or do unkind things, irreparable harm is done. You can never take words back once they are spoken. You can never undo hurt once it has been inflicted. What was once a beautiful treasure has been broken. Try as you might, you can never recreate exactly what was there before. It will always have cracks. If you continue to inflict hurt on the one you love, the day will come when, just like this Ming vase, it will no longer resemble what it was created to be, and you will lose your love."
Silence filled the kitchen as my brain and heart absorbed her wisdom. "Son, never inflict pain. Be careful of the words that come from your mouth – knowing they can never be reclaimed. Treasure your love and your relationships. They are the only things of real value you will ever own." She turned to leave and then repeated what had started the conversation; "Pierre, please remember that how you treat your mother is how you will treat your wife."
My mama quietly picked up the pieces of the Ming vase, kissed me on the forehead, and left me to my thoughts.
The lessons she taught that day changed my attitude immediately and have stayed with me for 45 years. Relationships are truly the only things that hold real value. I must treasure and protect them just as I would a valuable piece of fine art.

P.S. And just so you'll know this wise woman (Pierre's mother- who was really his grandmother), Berthe Charbonneau, in the early 50's was the Founder of the Cancer Society as we know it today - The Canadian & American Cancer Society. And now you know.... the Rest of the Story... :)

Serenity

Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom. It is the result of long and patient effort in self-control. Its presence is an indication of ripened experience, and of a more than ordinary knowledge of the laws and operations of thought.
A person becomes calm in the measure that one understands themselves as a thought evolved being, for such knowledge necessitates the understanding of others as the result of thought, and as one develops a right understanding, and sees more and more clearly the internal relations of things by the action of cause and effect, one ceases to fuss and fume and worry and grieve, and remains poised, steadfast, serene.

The calm person, having learned how to govern themselves, knows how to adapt themselves to others; and they, in turn, reverence their spiritual strength, and feel that they can learn of them and rely upon them. The more tranquil a person becomes, the greater is their success, their influence, their power for good. Even the ordinary trader will find their business prosperity increase as one develops a greater self control and equanimity, for people will always prefer to deal with a person whose demeanor is strongly equable.

The strong, calm person is always loved and revered. They are like a shade-giving tree in a thirsty land, or a sheltering rock in a storm. Who does not love a tranquil heart, a sweet-tempered, balanced life? It does not matter whether it rains or shines, or what changes come to those possessing these blessings, for they are always sweet, serene, and calm. That exquisite poise of character which we call serenity is the last lesson of culture; it is the flowering of life, the fruitage of the soul. It is precious as wisdom, more to be desired than gold, than even fine gold. How insignificant mere money seeking looks in comparison with a serene life - a life that dwells in the ocean of truth, beneath the waves, beyond the reach of tempests, in the eternal calm!

How many people we know who sour their lives, who ruin all that is sweet and beautiful by explosive tempers, who destroy their poise of character, and make bad blood! It is a question whether the great majority of people do not ruin their lives and mar their happiness by lack of self-control flow few people we meet in life who are well-balanced, who have that exquisite poise which is characteristic of the finished character!

MPM POWER BOOSTER!

She was an unlikely candidate to carry the famed Olympic torch. Instead of running, 88 year old Osceola McCarty, walked – slowed by advanced arthritis. There was a motorcycle policeman on either side, there to support the torch she was holding her hand under when she became too tired to hold it aloft herself. The crowds cheered while she smiled and beamed..

Osceola never dreamed such an honor would be hers. She didn’t dream of any of the honors heaped on her in the years after… But wait - I’m getting ahead of myself…

Osceola McCarty had dreams of being a nurse when she was a little girl growing up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Her dreams were laid aside when family needs forced her to leave school at 13 and join her grandmother, mother and aunt beside the washing pot in the back yard.

That big black kettle, boiling away under the relentless Mississippi sun, pelting rain, or cold winds, became her existence. You could find her, from early in the morning until late in the evening, either washing clothes or stooped over a hot iron as she crisped them up. At some point she became content with her life. She loved her work but she thought a lot about what education would have meant to her if she could have stayed in school.

Osceola buried her grandmother, then her mother, then her aunt. And she kept right on washing and ironing. 75 years worth. She lived alone. She walked everywhere she went. She didn’t talk much because there was no one to talk to. She pretty much just worked. With the exception of the trip she made to the bank every month to put money away for her future. In 87 years she had only been out of Mississippi once.

So how did this elderly black woman end up carrying the Olympic torch?

Well, it all began the day she made her monthly trip to the bank. She had decided to retire because the arthritis in her hands had gotten so bad. The bank officers suggested she should make plans about what she was going to do with all her money. All her money? Yes. 75 years of savings, of putting away small amounts of money, had grown to more than $200,000!

Osceola knew she wasn’t going to live forever. After some thought, Osceola decided that upon her death she would give 10% to the church, 10% each to 3 cousins, and the rest, $150,000, to the University of Southern Mississippi right there in Hattiesburg.

"I just want the scholarship to go to some child who needs it, to whoever is not able to help their children," Osceola said. "I'm too old to get an education, but they can."

She never dreamed of the uproar her gift would cause. Nor the honors that would be heaped on her – meeting President Clinton; numerous awards; an honorary doctorate from Harvard University; the keys to cities; travel all over America; and so much more.

Osceola simply wanted what she had worked so hard for all her life to make a difference for others. Her philosophies of life were simple and powerful.

On work: "I knew there were people who didn't have to work as hard as I did, but it didn't make me feel sad. I loved to work, and when you love to do anything, those things don't bother you."

On saving money: "A smart person plans for the future. You never know what kind of emergency will come up, and you can't rely on the government to meet all your needs. You have to take responsibility for yourself."

You see, success means different things to different people. Success to Osceola meant working hard, saving her money, and then in the end – making a difference to others. She never had much as far as material things but when she died in 1999 at the age of 91, she was rich beyond belief in all the things that truly mattered.

How do you define success? Too many people never answer that question for themselves. They let the world define success for them, and then wonder why they are dissatisfied with the results of their life. Take some time and discover the answer for YOUR life.

Here’s one more of Osceola’s beliefs:

On good living: "There's a lot of talk about self-esteem these days. It seems pretty basic to me. If you want to feel proud of yourself, you've got to do things you can be proud of. Feelings follow actions."

Have a wonderful day!

Frozen By Fear

The Little Engine That Could was a story that inspired many of us as children. The story tells of a small train that was faced with a steep climb up a very large hill. Half way up the hill the little engine started to feel as though it was an impossible task. Fear set in.
"Will I make it?" the train wondered. "What if I don't? What if I run out of steam before I make it? What if I'm not equipped with a strong enough engine to handle this?"
The fear grew inside as his speed slowed with the climb. Soon he crawled to a stop. "I can't make it," he thought.
He was gripped with fear, paralyzed by it. Then things got even worse. He was now slipping backwards. His fear was now his reality. The top of the hill was out of his reach and he would never make it. As he slid backwards he yelled out, "I don't want to fail!"
Then something inside him changed. In truth he really did want to be on the top of the hill, not forever stuck at the bottom to live in its shadow. Fear was replaced with determination, drive, and a desire to make it to the top. With all he had in him he focused on summoning the power he needed to stop the backward slide.
And he did it! He was now holding his ground on the hill. His excitement deepened his determination. Up the hill he began moving, ever so slowly, pulling the weight of the entire train behind him. He looked up toward the top of the hill and held clear in his mind the vision of making it. He became even more determined and that made him feel stronger. His confidence grew and he picked up more speed. The train didn't feel so hard to pull now. He felt great strength within himself that he hadn't known before; strength he had never needed before now. As he neared the top of the hill he felt unstoppable. He knew he was going to make it!
He did it! The little ol'train made it to the top of the hill and congratulated himself. It felt great to be at the top. Filled with joy, confidence and a passion for life he looked down the tracks eager to continue his journey. He saw another hill - bigger than the last! A big smile came over his face; for he truly understood there is no end to the hills! This filled him with a deep sense of peace and humility. He then further realized that the journey and the destination are one and the same.
He wondered how was it that at the half-way point he felt so overcome with the task and yet it was in him to make it. He was strong enough. Could it have been that as his fears grew, his thoughts were consumed with the vision of not making it? Failure almost became his reality. It was when he changed his focus - alerted his perspective - that he felt powerful. In fact, it seemed the more he believed in himself the stronger he felt, and the easier the climb became. His new focus became his new reality!
He admired just how powerful his thoughts are and he never took them for granted again. He became aware of his thoughts and he used them to go places he always wanted to go!
Remember: You are the conductor of your own train on the tracks of life and you are strong enough to go places you want to go. Don't let a little hill stop you - choose the reality you wish to create, not the one you're afraid might occur. Soon enough you'll be able to say just like the little engine, "I know I can!"

When you believe you've found your purpose, do not allow yourself to be dissuaded by others' opinions - don't allow them to tell you in which direction to build. After about five years of working at Nightingale Conant, I landed on an alarmingly great idea... I was going to do this on my own.
I wanted to do just what my close friend and mentor, Earl Nightingale, was doing, but I wanted to do it under my own name and with the education and knowledge I'd been personally acquiring over all the years. So, I got a tape recorder - you know, one of those old fashioned kinds with the big buttons and the red "record" button. You put the tape in and it click-click-clicks away while you talk into the microphone...that kind of thing. And I sat down and recorded my own thoughts on the subject of personal growth.
I needed someone to give me feedback, so I called up a good friend and told him I had a great idea I wanted to share with him. I took the tape and recorder up to his house, turned it all on and ...well, Joel Goldsmith's phrase "Thunder of Silence" couldn't have fit the situation better. As the tape played on, the pressure in that room became enormous - it was his embarrassment for me. I eventually turned the tape recorder off, and mumbled, "Well, it was just an idea."
As I was driving back to my house, it hit me: I was letting him steal my dream! This was my dream! I wasn't going to let him steal my dream! And that's when it clicked in my mind... I can do this.
Had I listened to him, I would have fallen off my life's purpose. I would have kept obtaining goals and building long-term visions in my head, but I would have been going in the absolute wrong direction. See, if you're not on purpose, everything is off course.
When you have the right purpose you'll easily develop the right vision. When you have the right vision, you'll quickly recognize the right goal.

Are You Celebrating Freedom???

Here in the states we celebrate the birth
of our nation this week with fireworks,
family reunions, outdoor concerts, parades,
and picnics.
And for many we reflect on the price paid for
our country to be truly free... in both dollars
and lives.
As we reflect on that this week I want to ask
you...
Have you paid the price to be truly free?
I'm talking about personal freedom from the
tyranny of a 9-5 job... or tyranny from the
frustration of being in a job you hate... or
tyranny from living from paycheck to paycheck...
or tyranny from a boss who does not appreciate
the job you do.
What is it you are a slave too? Whatever
it is you need to CELEBRATE FREEDOM and get
F`REE from it!
In keeping with the tradition of wanting to
help you accomplish your dreams and success
in life and get truly free, I am offering you a way

Celebrate Freedom

In the United States, we celebrate our Independence Day on the 4th of July. We realize that many of our partners come from over 106 countries and many of you are not celebrating your independence today. With that in mind, I want to share with you a few of my favorite quotes and ideas that tie into the concept of liberty, freedom and equality; ideals that we all share. Wishing you a Happy Independence Day wherever you are! QUOTES ON LIBERTY, FREEDOM and EQUALITY 1) The secret of happiness is freedom, and the secret of freedom, courage. – Thucydides 2) Freedom is the last, best hope of earth. – Abraham Lincoln 3) Give me the liberty to know, to utter, and to argue freely according to conscience, above all liberties. -John Milton 4) By liberty I mean the assurance that every man shall be protected in doing what he believes is his duty against the influence of authority and majorities, custom and opinion. – Lord Acton 5) Liberty cannot be caged into a charter or handed on ready-made to the next generation. Each generation must recreate liberty for its own times. Whether or not we establish freedom rests with ourselves. -- Florence Ellinwood Allen 6) Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves. – Abraham Lincoln 7) God grant that not only the love of liberty but a thorough knowledge of the rights of man pervade all the nations of the earth, so that a philosopher may pervade all the nations of the earth, so that a philosopher may set his foot anywhere on its surface and say:" This is my country." – Benjamin Franklin

Celebrate Freedom - Happy July 4th

Happy 4th of July,
Independence Day!
A time to celebrate freedom and opportunity.
Can you believe we’re now half way through the year?
How is your year stackin’ up?
Are you on track for a better year than last year?
Here’s the great thing - even if you’r not where you want to be right now, you can make some immediate shifts.
To celebrate independence today, I have a simple assignment (probably take less than 4-5 minutes).
One of my mentors got me to think about ‘my time’ differently!
I challenge you to do the same thing. How much time per day are you spending, focused on ‘YOU’? Improving mentally, physically, socially, spiritually, and financially. How much time do you spend really spend building (and planning) your dreams?
I’ve discovered that most people spend more time planning a birthday party than they do in ‘planning and designing’ their life.
And what I’ve found, is that if your life is like a boat without a ‘rudder’, you’ll end up on the rocks. In fact, for most of my early years, my life was ‘on the rocks’.
I kept faith while I did the little things - consistently over time - and my life transformed.
So, here’s what I challenge you to think about today (as you celebrate your
Independence).
I want you to think about these two things. In our programs, they are part of what we refer to as the ‘Wealth Formula’. The ‘Wealth Formula’ says you want to focus on doing 2 main things:
1. Put yourself in a position to do the work 1 time and get paid over and over again.
2. Put yourself in a position to speak to large groups of people at a time.
I’d love to hear from you!
You probably do something different than the tens of thousands of people who read this. I’d love for you to help other people just like you. It’s your time to speak, inspire and teach.
Tell us how you can do those 2 things starting now…
If you’re not registered, register by hitting the link to the right : “Register”. Once you do. Then hit the comment link below and post your feedback. Then come back and find out what other members have to say!
Celebrate your freedoms today - freedom of speech, freedom of thought, expression!
Do something that will likely teach someone else - post your feedback of how you can put yourself in a position to do the work 1 time and get paid over and over; and speak to large groups of people at a time.
Get the colors out and be creative…
I’m waiting to hear from you.
Happy Independence Day…
Success and Prosperity!

Believe and Succeed

You will agree, I am sure, that all thinking people have a sincere desire to succeed.

You want to win; I want to win. No one sets out to deliberately destroy themselves - although I must admit, at times it certainly appears as if some people do.

If everyone wants to win - why don't they? There are probably many answers to that question. After talking with hundreds of people who do not seem to be able to make it happen, I have come to the conclusion that the answer to success is locked up in a seven letter word - "Believe."

Losers do not believe they can win. Why don't they believe? I think there is an answer to that question and I'll get to it in a moment. If you are having difficulty making something big happen in your life, listen closely.

All the great religious leaders, philosophers and self-help gurus have told us to believe and succeed. "All things are possible for those who believe."

William James said, "Believe and your belief will create the fact."

I have found that our belief system is based on our evaluation of something. Frequently when we re-evaluate a situation our belief about that situation will change.

Half of my life was wasted. I never even tried to accomplish anything of any importance because I did not believe in myself. The truth was I knew very little about me. Many years ago I was encouraged to begin studying myself, re-evaluate myself. I began to gain an understanding of my marvelous mind. Everyday I learned a little more and I suddenly began to believe in myself.

Today I have a number of companies around the world earning millions of dollars. We have a very successful year long coaching program... We teach people the laws of their mind. Long before the year's program is over we see marvelous things happen from more money to great loving relationships.

Re-evaluate yourself. There is a sleeping giant in you. Release it.

Believe in yourself

Suzuki Secret

Some people know early on what their destiny is, and they begin to prepare for it. Ichiro Suziki is one of those people. In August of 2004, the Seattle Mariner’s baseball player broke an 84 year old record for most hits in a season. He was only 20 years old when he won his first batting title.
What has made Ichiro great? The answer is so simple. Knowing what he wanted, and knowing what it would take to get there.
Ichiro, born in Japan, picked up his first ball and bat when he was 3 years old. When he was eight, he insisted he wanted to play baseball and joined a baseball club. His Dad supported him by becoming the manager. It wasn’t good enough for Ichiro because the team only played and practiced on Sundays. He wanted to play everyday.
Everyday of the week you would find Ichiro and his father outside – playing baseball. They practiced together every single day for 4 years, until Ichiro was old enough to join a team that would give him daily playing time. By the time he was in high school he participated twice in "Koshien" - the National High School Baseball Tournament in Japan.
He went professional as soon as he graduated from High School – racking up honor after honor in his Japan homeland. He continued to practice just as hard, determined to be the best by doing his best – every day. The Japanese fans responded by making him an idol.
Then a new opportunity presented itself. The Seattle Mariners wanted him. His determination to be the best paid off when the Mariners paid $13 Million dollars to bring him to the United States.
In his first year he was named “Rookie of the Year” and “Most Valuable Player of the Year” for the League. He became an instant sensation in America.
All the while he kept working hard, focused on being the best he could be, taking nothing for granted. He was where he was because he worked hard. He would continue to work hard.
Can you say “Secret”?
In 2004 it all came together under the bright lights of the Seattle Mariners home field when he broke the record George Sisler had held on to for 84 years. He made 262 hits in just one season. Amazing! The fans went wild – both here and in Japan. Fireworks exploded. His teammates mobbed him on the field.
262 hits in one season.
It all began when he was just a little boy, determined to be the best by doing his best. Every one of us has that choice to make. You might not have the ability, nor the desire, to be a baseball player. But you have a dream. You have something you want to do with your life.
You get to choose... Choose to be the best by doing your best. It’s a choice you will have to make every day to achieve success.
Here’s to making great choices!

– What if you’re starting from broke?

Is My Power Mall for everyone? We believe it is! Can you succeed with MPM if you are broke or have very little resources? We believe you can! That’s the reason the system is FREE and why all tools are FREE. Our CEO & Founder says, "Without giving you a long sordid story, I’ve had nothing at one point in my life and know what it’s like to struggle against almost insurmountable odds to change my life. I’ve watched people struggle to make money online, investing in one thing after another in a futile search to find the one thing that works – disappointed over and over."

The question is – can someone build a successful MPM business if they are starting with nothing? We believe the answer is yes, but you (listen carefully if you are one of them) need to accept some basic truths in the very beginning:

1 - You are going to have to work harder than other people who have money to invest

2 - You are going to have to be creative and think “outside-the-box” thoughts.

3 - You have to accept that it will probably take you a little longer than it will for people with money to invest.

4 - You are going to have to want it badly enough to pay a little higher price – knowing that your rewards will be exponentially greater as well!

Okay… if you are starting with nothing, or have people on your team starting with nothing, and you really want to succeed, here’s where we want you to start:

*** Make sure you read the Training Letters about Goals and the Law of Attraction. Then read them again, and again, and again – making sure you do all the exercises. All the great ideas we are about to share with you will mean nothing if you haven’t laid a solid foundation in your life and heart.******

Now, here are some suggestions for ways to build your business:

1 – If you don’t have a computer - go to the library on a daily basis or work out a trade agreement with a neighbor to use their computer. Offer to baby sit in exchange for your computer time. Fix your specialty recipe. Do some yard work. Find something they need and do it in exchange for some regular computer time.

2 – Make absolutely sure you are receiving our emails – especially since you probably can’t download the RSS Feed Reader on someone else’s computer. We will give you a daily flow of information and inspiration that will keep you moving forward – even when you think you can’t do it. If you’re not getting our emails go to the home page of your Back Office and click on the link that will tell you how to make sure you receive them.

3 – Don’t have a car to get to the library? Catch the bus, pull out your bike, or walk. Remember – you’re going to have to work harder to make it happen but, hey, the exercise will be great for you!

4 – What to do once you’re in front of the computer? Send out permission emails. This concept was introduced to us by one of our very first members. Basically you are sending someone an email to ask if you can send them some information on My Power Mall. Next, go to your favorite search engine and search for "Free Classified Ads and Classified Ads". Then go to the ads where people are advertising for folks to join their business. The odds are that they are part of the 97% failing!

Receive a FREE online Shopping Mall with 1000+ stores!

http://www.mypowermall.com/Biz/Home/12520

There is nothing to sell – you simply shop in your own Mall with millions of products!

There is no qualifying for your income – there are no games to play!

All Business Tools are FREE!

You can generate Unlimited Income!

No matter what you’re currently doing, My Power Mall can be a part of your strategy to gain financial freedom. You can check it out at: www.MyPowerMall.com/biz/home/YourID#

5 - Send invitations to website owners…

We love this because if you can wrap your brain around what we're about to share you will NEVER run out of people to share My Power Mall with. What if you were to write letters to the owners of websites?

For example… go to your favorite search engine and search for "Working From Home". You’ll come up with 798,000,000 search results! Start from the back. Start from the middle. Just start somewhere and contact the owners of these websites by going to their Contact Us Page. If you’re not a writer, send them an email with a banner. Copy one of the Invitation cards and put it in an email. Use one of the Email Campaign letters. Then start sending them out, telling them you visited their website and think they should see MPM. You could end up with an individual or with an online business with existing massive resources to build MPM – right under you!

6 – Contact Ezine owners

An Ezine is nothing more than a magazine online, and they support themselves by selling advertising. Since you’re broke you’re not going to buy advertising but there is still a way to approach them. Try the following email:

Check it out by watching the video at www.MyPowerMall.com/biz/home/YourID#. I’ll work closely with you to assure your success though you’ll find the system so simple you probably won’t need me!

What kind of ezine can you approach? The better question is who can’t you approach? Doesn’t everyone shop? Doesn’t everyone have everyday needs and wants? Doesn’t everyone have a desire for greater financial freedom? There is no limit.

If you’re creative and willing to think “Outside the Box” there is no limit to the approaches you can take in contacting people. Via email, it won’t cost you a penny. How many emails can you send daily? 50? 100? How badly do you want Financial Freedom? Even if you’re a single Mom with 5 kids, you can find time to send even 2-3 emails. Added up on a daily basis you will send hundreds – giving you a chance to create financial freedom.

We’ve provided you with the FREE Mall and all the tools you need. Now it’s up to you to actually use them.

7 – Focus on finding people with money to spend

This one is really important. While we want you to share MPM with everyone you know – giving them a chance for success as well – you want to put your focus (at least in the beginning) on people who have money to spend. You can only make money when people SHOP. If you build your team with only people who are in the same financial straits you are, you will have a large team, but you won’t make any money!

If you think you can’t communicate with people who have a lot of money until you have a lot of your own I want you to RUN to your local video store and get the movie The Pursuit of Happyness, starring Will Smith. It’s a true story about a man who beat the odds – earning a place in a Wall Street investment firm while he was living in a Homeless Shelter. Whatever your current condition, you CAN change it! Set a night aside and watch this movie – alone, with your partner, or with your kids. It will be powerful for all of you!

8 – Local college campus

The 18-24 age group consists of some of the biggest online spenders. They grew up on the Internet and do almost everything online. Find them! Hand out Invitation cards. Print up some flyers – all in black & white if you can’t afford color. Call around till you find one of the places that will print them for 3 cents apiece, or do them on your own printer.

Put up flyers around campus. Leave them in bathrooms. Again, be creative.

Okay… these ideas should at least get you started. You’ll pick up more ideas in the rest of the Training Letters. Before we end today, we want to give you a challenge. Only you can tell which one of these two people you are…

Take a deep breath and determine if you are ready for a challenge and some soul searching. If you aren't, don't read this. If you choose to read it, then read through to the end. This is something Ginny wrote…

As I grow older, and as I watch people, I have learned there are two basic types… There are talkers. And there are doers.

Lots of people are talkers. They tell you all about what they are "going to do". They have big plans and good intentions, but all they do is talk. They're always going to do it tomorrow. They're always going to do it later. They're always "going to do it". Sound like anyone you know?

Then there are the doers. They might not talk about it at all - they just go do it, then tell you about it when it's done. Regardless, they DO IT. If they say they are going to do something - they do it.

No matter who you are - man, woman, teenager - the results of your whole life will depend on what you DO, not what you "talk about"!

Would you like to guess which group of people is going to be the one that experiences success in life? Success in whatever they decide to do? You're right. The DOERS!

I learned a long time ago that important things take tremendous work and perseverance. I also learned the closer you get to the realization of that goal, the greater and more intense the obstacles become. It's as if the Universe is testing you to see how much you want it.

One of my favorite people is AL Williams. Years ago he went against the tide of standard thinking and began a revolution in Life Insurance. People told him it couldn't be done. They said there was no way a country speaking football coach from Georgia could turn the Insurance Industry upside down. He listened, then went and did it anyway.

I am going to steal a concept he used during one of his tapes I listened to. Since I'm a good southern girl I'm going to "speak my language."

Be honest enough to acknowledge if you hear yourself in this...

Folks, I've heard it all. I've listened to so many people tell me what they are going to do. I'm going to make more sales. I'm going to get a promotion by working hard. I'm going to start my own business. I'm going to make better grades. I'm going to volunteer and make a difference in my community. I'm going to...?

But... I just got to do a few things. Just as soon as things calm down at work, I'm gonna go do it. Just as soon as I get things together at home, I'm gonna go do it. Just as soon as I get my desk clean and organized I'm gonna do it. Just as soon as I learn some more things, I'm gonna do it. Just as soon as I have some more money I'm gonna do it. Really! I'm gonna do it.

As soon as I get smarter. As soon as I get braver.. As soon as I have more time. As soon as I get focused. Then I'm going to do it.

Folks, you're gonna spend the rest of your life getting ready. You're going to spend the rest of your life TALKING about what you're gonna do.

There's only one remedy. You got to go DO IT. Just go DO IT. Don't tell me about what you're going to do. Just go do it. What are you going to do? Whatever it takes to accomplish your goals. Whatever it takes to create the kind of life you want.

Just do it. And if you do it, and do it, and do it? You'll be exactly what you want to be. All your dreams will come true.

Doggone it folks. You just got to quit TALKING about what you're going to do. You got to go DO IT. AND DO IT. AND DO IT. AND DO IT.

JUST DO IT!!

We want you to stop what you're doing and think for a few minutes - or as long as it takes. Then we want you to write yourself a letter. Make a commitment to yourself of what you are going to DO. Make a list of your goals and put them where you'll see them.

Here's something that will really determine if you are a talker or a Doer. Write your letter, then ask a friend to mail it to you in 2-3 months. You can put it in a self-addressed, stamped envelope they will merely slip in the mail. You'll be able to see for yourself whether you are a talker or a DOER.

Challenging you because… http://www.mypowermall.com/Biz/Home/12520

WE BELIEVE IN YOU!

Have a fabulous, powerful day!
