Someone Belives In You

Do you ever wonder what your life is going to be like in 1 year; 5 years; 10 years; 20 years; longer? Of course you do. Everyone does.

Let me clue you into a secret that will impact your entire life if you'll let it. Your life will be whatever you decide to make it.

You've got a choice to make. Today. And every other day of your life.

Let me clue you into another secret of life. Where you are in your life today is a direct consequence of every decision you have ever made.

Ouch. I know. It was pretty tough on me when I had to face this truth. I didn't like some of what I saw - other things I felt pretty good about. I figure we might as well get this out of the way right at the beginning. I have discovered it is best to face the reality of where you are starting from before you begin a journey. It's the only way you can know how far you have to go - or how far you have come.

So go ahead. take a few minutes (or longer) to think about these two secrets. You may discover the same kind of freedom I did. While it was tough to accept that I am ultimately responsible for whatever the condition of my life is right now - there is also incredible freedom in knowing I have the power to make it anything I want it to be. Wow!

I get so tired of people complaining about their lives. Complaining they can't do certain things because they're just not smart enough. Complaining they will never excel in anything because they just don't have the talent others do. Complaining they will never make much money because no one else they know does. It goes on and on.

I hear it all the time. People selling themselves short because they simply don't believe life will be exciting for them - they don't believe their dreams will ever come true. As long as they believe that - it will be true for them.

Okay. did you hear that? This is another secret of life. If they believe it, it will be true for them. I didn't say it was true. I simply said it was true for them because they have decided to believe it. That MAKES it true for them. Too bad!

Especially because the opposite is equally true. If you choose to believe in your ability to excel; to succeed; to make your dreams come true - then you will. Your decision to believe it makes it TRUE FOR YOU!

I realize you probably are thinking I'm a little wacko right now. That's okay. I still have 364 days to help you see things my way! You wouldn't be getting these letters if there wasn't someone else who believes in you.

Today is a day you can use to change your life. Change the way you think about things.

Decide to believe your entire life is going to be an exciting adventure. Decide to believe you will be a success. Decide to believe today is going to be better than yesterday.

Decide and it will be TRUE FOR YOU!

Because.

The Nature of Character

Abraham Lincoln was very concerned with character, but he was also aware of the importance of having a good reputation. He explained the difference this way: “Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.”

Put another way, your reputation is what people think of you. Your character is what you actually are.

In a world preoccupied with image, it’s easy to worry too much about our reputation and too little about our character. Building a reputation is largely a public-relations project; building character requires us to focus on our values and actions. Noble rhetoric and good intentions aren’t enough.

What we’re looking for is moral strength based on ethical principles. Character is revealed by actions, not words, especially when there’s a gap between what we want to do and what we should do and when doing the right thing costs more than we want to pay.

Our character is revealed by how we deal with pressures and temptations. But it’s also disclosed by everyday actions, including what we say and do when we think no one is looking and we won’t get caught.

The way we treat people we think can’t help or hurt us (like housekeepers, waiters, and secretaries), tells more about our character than how we treat people we think are important. People who are honest, kind, and fair only when there’s something to gain shouldn’t be confused with people of real character who demonstrate these qualities habitually, under all circumstances.

Character is not a fancy coat we put on for show. It’s who we really are.

This is Michael Josephson reminding you that character counts.

Self-fulfilling Prophecy

Proverbs 23: 7 - “As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.”

The batter hits the ball high in the air towards right field. It arcs majestically against the sky. It is going right towards Sammy. Everybody in the park knows that he’s going to drop it. Sammy knows that he’s going to drop it. He drops it.

This scene has been replayed time and time again on fields around the world. It doesn’t have to be a fielder; it sometime is a batter you know is going to strike out. It doesn’t even have to be baseball. It can be anything.

It’s called a self-fulfilling prophecy. I wasn’t familiar with this term until I took a psychology class in university. Basically it means that what you believe will usually happen.

If you believe you are going to flunk a test, you probably will. If you think the meal you are making for your new in-laws will be a disaster, it probably will. If you think you will be in a car accident, better call your insurance agent. In all these cases, your visualizing the worst-case scenario will greatly increase the possibility of them actually happening.

There are people in the world who sew the seeds of the self-fulfilling prophecy. They are the people who put their fears on you. For example, their fears that something might happen to you make you uneasy and possibly help the unfortunate event happen. They are usually the first ones to say, “I told you so.”

So what do you do? First, look at history. There were plenty of people who said humans would never fly, let alone walk on the moon. You have the choice to believe those thoughts. Also, you can replace those thoughts with positive ones. You don’t have to believe the nay-sayers. If self-fulfilling prophecy works with negative thoughts, it can also work with positive ones.

George Bernard Shaw said, "You see things; and you say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were; and I say, ‘Why not?’ " What message are you playing in your mind?

When I started playing softball, I was like Sammy. I was hoping the batter wouldn’t hit the ball to me. Eventually those thoughts were replaced with positive ones and I was begging for the batter to hit it to me. Can you guess which thoughts allowed me to enjoy the game the most and perform the best?

When the game was on the line, Michael Jordan wanted the ball. He already saw the ball going in before he shot.

Pete Rose, who holds the record for the most hits in baseball, was asked how many times in a game he thought he was going to get a hit. He answer was, “Every time.” Did he get a hit every time? No, but his belief that he would greatly increased his success.

It’s the same with life. Put positive, happy thoughts in your mind and you will tend to be happy. If you are constantly worrying that something MIGHT happen, you will not lead a full life and probably not reach your potential. What does worrying do most of the time anyway? It usually prevents you from doing your best in a situation.

It comes down to the simple saying. If you think you can, you may be right. If you think you can’t, you are almost certainly right. Put another way, success comes in cans!

Success Team Builders

I am so proud. I am part of the fastest growing team in Vitamark International. This team is absolutely AWESOME. We all work together. Sideline, upline, downline, doesn’t matter. We all work together. I have never in my life seen a team in a network marketing company that works together like we do.
I’ve been in a few other network marketing companies and have received little or no support. In one company, my sponsor was this awesome lady who is to this day a great friend. However, the person above her was a “big dog” with the company. If you weren’t at a certain level, she wouldn’t work with you. Unfortunately, my sponsor wasn’t at that level and neither was I. We were just starting out. How could we be at that level? We weren’t “worthy” of her time.
I don’t care what level someone is at, they can call on me for help anytime. I will never be “that person”. Our team puts the egos out of the way.
My mentors - Art Jonak, Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, Michael Dlouhy and Richard Dennis are 4 of the most brilliant minds in network marketing. They have taught me that NO ONE can do it alone. None of them can build an organization and be successful on their own. It takes a TEAM of people working together and following a proven system.
Success Team Builders has that proven system.
One thing that my mentor did for me when I started with Success Team Builders was BELIEVE in me. Two years ago this week when I joined the Success Team Builders, I did NOT believe I deserved success. I came from a horrible childhood and had no belief in myself. My mentors let me borrow their belief in ME until I believed in myself. I now give that back to every one of my team members. I am here for any one of them anytime.
If someone on my team is willing to give of themselves, I am willing to help them and believe in them. I will do whatever I can to help them succeed. I will give them all of the tools and help them use them. I do three way calls for my team members anytime. I call people with them. I work with them until they have the belief in themselves to work with their team. I give them responsibilities so they can grow into the leaders they deserve to be.
Some of my team members have told me “I was afraid to call you because you’re so busy.” I am NEVER too busy to help a team member who needs my support.
How important is teamwork? It is PRICELESS!!! Without a team of people who believe in you and will work with you, you can not make it in this industry. Not one of us can do it alone.
If you are coachable, I will coach you and help you succeed.
Have an awesome day!!!

Build Your Fortune Part Time While Working Your Job Full Time

Network marketing is an awesome way to build a future. If you’re working, use your income from your job to invest into a home based MLM business. Work your business part time while you are working a full time job. If anyone tries to talk you into quitting your job to work from home - RUN THE OTHER WAY!!

Network marketing is NOT a get rich quick scam. Some PEOPLE or COMPANIES are unscrupulous and will tell you that you can get rich overnight. They are LYING TO YOU!! Don’t believe them.

You CAN get rich in network marketing, but it takes work and it takes effort and it takes time. It will NOT happen overnight and you can NOT sign up, do nothing and get paid. That lie has “gotten” a lot of people.

Do your homework. Know what to look for in a network marketing company. Once you are armed with the information that you need to make an informed decision, you will have a crystal ball into this industry. This will help insure that you don’t spend a ton of money and lose it all.

Most companies are set up so they (THE COMPANY) are successful, but the key is to find out what percentage of the reps are successful. The company and the person who is introducing you to the business probably won’t tell you that, so you need a way to find out. You need to find what we call the 10K number.

Imagine this - you are faced with two staircases to climb. At the top of each is the same prize - $10,000. One staircase has 2,500 steps and the other staircase has 400 steps. Which one would you rather climb?

Find out how many people need to be in your organization to make $10,000/mo. If you need to build an organization of 2,500 people to make $10,000/mo. and I need to build an organization of 400 people to make $10,000/mo., who do you think will have an easier job?

Why spin your wheels? Do your homework, get educated and find the right company for you. It’s out there.

You Deserve Success!!

Laws Of Success

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(1)-- Law of CAUSE & EFFECT - This is an orderly universe. There are no accidents. Everything happens for a reason. For every effect there's a cause or a set of causes.

[Note: This is the "granddaddy" law from which all other laws in every field flow. It has been variously called the "Law of Sowing and Reaping"- the "Law of Action and Reaction"- the "Law of Compensation" - and the "Socratic Law."]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(2)=> Law of MIND - Thoughts objectify themselves. We 'become' what we 'think about'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(3)=> Law of MENTAL EQUIVALENCY - To achieve success in any area, we must have a 'clear image' of that success in our mind a mental picture of our idea of success - a vision.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(4)=> Law of CORRESPONDENCE - Our outer life will mirror our 'inner' life. There is a 'direct correspondence' between our experiences and our thoughts and attitudes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(5)=> Law of BELIEF - Whatever we believe - deeply - becomes our reality.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(6)=> Law of VALUES - What we truly value and believe in is reflected in our 'actions', even though our 'words' may say otherwise.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(7)=> Law of MOTIVATION - Everything we do is triggered by our inner desires, urges and instincts - many are subconscious.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(8)=> Law of SUBCONSCIOUS ACTIVITY - Our subconscious mind 'alerts us to things around us' - consistent with our dominant desires and concerns.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(9)=> Law of EXPECTATIONS - What we 'expect with confidence' tends to materialize.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(10)=> Law of CONCENTRATION - Whatever we concentrate on - and think about repeatedly - becomes more a part of our inner life.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(11)=> Law of HABIT - Virtually all that we do is automatic - the result of habit. Habits that move us 'away' from our goals must be 'changed'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(12)=> Law of ATTRACTION - We are 'living magnets'. We attract people, events and circumstances that 'harmonize with our dominant thoughts'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(13)=> Law of CHOICE - We are free to choose what we think about - and therefore 'free to choose all other parts of our life'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(14)=> Law of OPTIMISM - A positive mental attitude 'goes' with success and happiness. Optimism makes us cheerful and pleasant - and more 'likely' to succeed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(15)=> Law of CHANGE - All things are changing - nothing is fixed. If we don't take advantage' of change - we will be the victims of change!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(16)=> Law of CONTROL - We feel positive about ourselves to the extent that we feel we 'are in control' of our lives.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(17)=> Law of RESPONSIBILITY - WE are 'fully responsible' for everything we are - everything we have - everything we become - and everything we achieve.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(18)=> Law of COMPENSATION - Whatever we put in - we will get out 'we will always be compensated in full' for whatever we do.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(19)=> Law of SERVICE - Our rewards in this life will be in direct proportion to 'the value of our service to others'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(20)=> Law of APPLIED EFFORT - All things are amenable to hard work - in fact, 'the harder we work, the luckier we get'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(21)=> Law of OVER-COMPENSATION - We must always put in more than we take out - or we'll never take out more than we're getting now ('do more' than we're paid for - to 'get paid more' for what we do).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(22)=> Law of PREPARATION - 'Perfect performance comes from painstaking preparation'. Real pros take more time than others to prepare.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(23)=> Law of FORCED EFFICIENCY - The more we take on - the more efficient we'll be. While there's never enough time to do everything - 'there's always enough time to do the important things'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(24)=> Law of DECISION - Every great leap forward springs from 'a clear decision to ACT'. And if we act boldly - unseen forces will come to our aid.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(25)=> Law of CREATIVITY - Every advance begins with an idea in one person's mind. Whatever 'our mind can conceive and truly believe, it CAN achieve'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(26)=> Law of FLEXIBILITY - Success is best achieved when we are 'clear about the goal, but flexible' about how to get there. Inflexibility can lead us to missed opportunities.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(27)=> Law of PERSISTENCE - Our ability to persist - despite setbacks and disappointments - affirms y=our belief in y=ourself. Persistence is the iron quality of Success.

Old Man IF

We want to pass on something to you that has challenged us all.... Enjoy - and be challenged!

People who do not succeed have one distinguishing trait in common. They know all the reasons for failure, and have what they believe to be airtight alibis to explain away their own lack of achievement.

Some of these alibis are clever, and a few of them are justifiable by the facts. But alibis cannot be used for money. The world only wants to know one thing - have you achieved success?

A character analyst compiled a list of the most commonly used alibis. As you read the list, examine yourself carefully, and determine how many of these alibis, if any, are your own property.
IF I didn't have a spouse and family.......
IF I had enough "pull"......
IF I had money......
IF I had a good education.....
IF I could get a job.....
IF I had good health.....
IF I only had time....
IF times were better....
IF other people understood me.....
IF conditions around me were only different.....
IF I could live my life over again....
IF I did not fear what "they" would say....
IF I had been given a chance....
IF I now had a chance.....
IF other people didn't "have it in for me"....
IF nothing happens to stop me....
IF I were only younger.....
IF I could only do what I want....
IF I had been born rich....
IF I could meet the "right people"....
IF I had the talent that some people have....
IF I dared assert myself....
IF I only had embraced past opportunities....
IF people didn't get on my nerves.....
IF I didn't have to keep house and look after the children....
IF I could save some money.....
IF the boss only appreciated me.....
IF I only had somebody to help me.....
IF my family understood me....
IF I lived in a big city.....
IF I could just get started....
IF I were only free....
IF I had the personality of some people.....
IF I were not so fat....
IF my talents were known....
IF I could just get a break....
IF I could only get out of debt....
IF I hadn't failed.....
IF I only knew how....
IF everybody didn't oppose me....
IF I didn't have so many worries.....
IF I could marry the right person....
IF people weren't so dumb.....
IF my family were not so extravagant....
IF I were sure of myself.....
IF luck were not against me....
IF I had not been born under the wrong star....
IF it were not true that "what is to be will be"....
IF I did not have to work so hard.....
IF I hadn't lost my money.....
IF I lived in a different neighborhood....
IF I didn't have a past.....
IF I only had a business of my own....
IF other people would only listen to me....
IF * * * and this is the greatest of them all ....
IF I had the courage to see myself as I really am, I would find out what is wrong with me, and
correct it! Then I might have a chance to profit by my mistakes and learn something from the
experiences of others, for I know there is something wrong with me, or I would now be where I
would have been if I had spent more time analyzing my weaknesses, and less time building alibis
to cover them.

Building alibis with which to explain away failure is a national pastime. The habit is as old as the human race and is fatal to success!

"It has always been a mystery to me," said Elbert Hubbard, "why people spend so much time deliberately fooling themselves by creating alibis to cover their weaknesses. If used differently, this same time would be sufficient to cure the weakness, and then no alibis would be needed."

Excerpt from... Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

We believe in you!!
