How much courage does it take to follow your passion? Ask Bethany Hamilton…
Bethany, who lives in Hawaii, was in grade school when she started her quest to become a professional surfboarder. Surfing was her passion. She spent every available minute in the water, even homeschooling so she would have more time to pursue her goal. When she was 8 years old she entered her first major competition – eventually taking the division championships that year. This girl obviously had what it took.
It was almost all taken away from her on Halloween morning, 2003, when Bethany was 13 years old. She was surfing with her best friend, Alana, and Alana’s brother and father. The waters were calm, not good for surfing, so Bethany was just lying on her board, her left arm dangling in the cool water.
She remembers a flash of gray, a lot of pressure, and a couple fast tugs. She also remembers watching the jaws of a 15-foot tiger shark cover the top of her board and her left arm. She watched in shock as the water around her turned bright red.
The shark was gone as fast as it appeared. So was her arm – bitten off almost to the armpit.
Bethany was horrified but not in pain at that point. She called to her friends and their father, Holt. “I just got attacked by a shark”.
It was a combination of miracles that saved Bethany at that point. High tide allowed them to make it over the reef without going around. Holt knew enough to wrap his shirt around the wound to act as a tourniquet while they paddled the quarter-mile to shore. While Bethany drifted in and out of consciousness, a nearby vacationer who was a paramedic rushed to help her.
Surgery saved her life but her arm was gone for good, and everyone, Bethany included, thought her surfing days were over. Within a week, spurred by her passion for surfing, Bethany decided to think something different. She wasn’t ready to give up what she loved so much, but it would take time for her body to heal.
There was a huge outpouring of love and support from Hawaiians and people all over the world. Love, food, flowers, cards, money… Bethany gathered hope and courage from the waves of love aimed toward her.
A few weeks later – the morning before Thanksgiving – Bethany headed back for the water. Her family and friends were there to cheer her on when she stepped into the warm water for the first time since the attack. It was like coming home.
She failed at her first attempts to ride the board, struggling to push herself up with one arm and keep her balance. She was afraid her dream would die in the water that day – the shark victorious after all. She pushed down her fears, gritted her teeth, and just keep trying.
Tears rolled down her face, and the crowds cheered when she caught her first wave and rode it in. Bethany was back!
Really back. Only months after her vicious incident, Bethany amazed thousands by achieving the unimaginable, including taking 5th at the 2004 National Scholastic Surfing Association Nationals Championships. In September she struck again, winning the Open Women's Division of the NSSA's Hawaiian conference season opener. After her placing in the finals of the National Surfing Championships Bethany has secured a spot on USA's National Surfing Team.
Ask Bethany if she is afraid of sharks and she’ll say yes. Her heart pounds when she sees a shadow in the water. She has nightmares. But she also has a dream, and moving beyond her fears is the only way to accomplish her dreams – the only way to fulfill the passion she has for surfing.

Attitudes

Ray Kroc's 'right time, right place' came after 59 years of 'searching'. At an age when most are thinking of retirement, Kroc was thinking of his future. It was with this 'positive attitude' that Kroc created his fortune.

What will your life be?
I hope you find as you read these letters that I am trying to give you great information, not just a bunch of hype. I want to share with you something that our Founder, Ginny Dye, wrote to challenge all of us. It hit home with me... What about you?

Here is the first thing you need to know as you strive toward accomplishing your goals and dreams.
There are NO SECRETS TO SUCCESS!
Webster's Dictionary defines a secret as something kept from public knowledge; something mysterious that is beyond general knowledge or understanding.
If that were true then it would mean success is only possible for those few who have access to the great mysterious secrets of success. Nonsense!
People believe there are hidden secrets that will propel them to success. There are no secrets. There are truths, lessons, insights and actions you can take to get you where you want to be. They are not hidden, but neither are they dancing in front of you as you walk through life. You have to WANT to know them. You have to LOOK for them. You have to DO something with them once you know them.
Do you ever wonder what your life is going to be like in 1 year; 5 years; 10 years; 20 years; longer? Of course you do. Everyone does. As we begin this journey together there is a very basic truth you need to hear, and hopefully accept.
Your life will be whatever you decide to make it.
You have got a choice to make. Today. And every other day of your life.
Let me clue you into another secret of life. Where you are in your life today is a direct consequence of every decision you have ever made.
Ouch. I know. It was pretty tough on me when I had to face this truth. I did not like some of what I saw; other things I felt pretty good about. I figure we might as well get this out of the way right at the beginning. I have discovered it is best to face the reality of where you are starting from before you begin a journey. It is the only way you can know how far you have to go; or how far you have come.
So go ahead; take a few minutes (or longer) to think about these two secrets. You may discover the same kind of freedom I did. While it was tough to accept I am ultimately responsible for whatever the condition of my life is right now; there is also incredible freedom in knowing I have the power to make it anything I want it to be. Wow!
I get so tired of people complaining about their lives. Complaining they cannot do certain things because they are just not smart enough. Complaining they will never excel in anything because they just do not have the talent others do. Complaining they will never make much money because no one else they know does. It goes on and on.
I hear it all the time. People selling themselves short because they simply do not believe life will be exciting for them; they do not believe their dreams will ever come true. As long as they believe that; it will be true for them.
Okay, did you hear that? This is another so-called secret of life. If they believe it, it will be true for them. I did not say it was true. I simply said it was true for them because they have decided to believe it. That MAKES it true for them. Too bad!
Especially because the opposite is equally true. If you choose to believe in your ability to excel, to succeed, to make your dreams come true; then you will. Your decision to believe it makes it TRUE FOR YOU!
Today is a day you can use to change your life. To change the way you think about things.
Decide to believe your entire life is going to be an exciting adventure. Decide to believe you will be a success. Decide to believe today is going to be better than yesterday.
Decide and it will be TRUE FOR YOU!

The Myth And Truth To Being Successful Online

, although controversial, was received as an overwhelming breath of fresh air based on your surge of comments on this blog. (As of writing this, 436 comments!)
Now, what I am about to share with you is going one step further down the road of “telling it like it is”. And I am a bit nervous what the response will be to this blog post. (You are welcome to write your comments below.)
The Myth:
Some marketers of systems have the very false belief that people don’t want to work and are lazy, stupid dunces that want to sit on the couch, watching jerry springer while your bank account magically grows with money due to some secret silver bullet.
And that belief of selling to the lowest common denominator has proven to be very successful over the years for those marketer’s pocket books. But it is my opinion that belief they have sets you, the user of that system, up for failure and I choose NOT to accept it.
Here’s why.
If you buy into that belief, then you are sold by the marketer what the “lazy, stupid dunces that want to sit on the couch, watching jerry springer while your bank account magically grows with money due to some secret silver bullet” person would buy.
Even though…
(A) The person selling it actually worked their butt off to get to where they are at (the exact opposite of what they promise). And usually they got there by doing things completely differently from what they try to teach you.
And…
(B) What they teach would NEVER work if you were the “lazy, stupid dunces that want to sit on the couch, watching jerry springer while your bank account magically grows with money due to some secret silver bullet” because no matter what they say it still requires work and learning and gaining new experiences and skills to see the desired results.
And even if you are not that person it most likely would not work for you because of all the reasons talked about in the Dirty Laundry Report… the major problems with what a lot of people are trying to sell as “systems”

The Truth:
You ARE willing to work, even work long and hard, if you truly believe that work will pay off and provide you the results you emotionally want.
But there is an IF in there (and its a BIG if!)
If you are open to digging in deeper, let’s look at the items that come after that “if” qualifier because that is where the secret to your success lies.
Sound good to you?
First is “results you emotionally want”.
This is where it starts. If you are not emotionally committed to get the results you want (one of my mentors calls it a Core Desire in his best selling book The DNA Of Success) then the obstacles you WILL encounter WILL stop you.
If your desire to get that result is a 70 on a scale of 1 to 100, you will go along quite fine until you reach an obstacle at 71.
Have you ever become stuck trying to do something you were mildly interested in and the only solution was to give up and quit? This is a big reason why that happens. Your 70 level “want” lost out badly to the “90″ level obstacle.
That is why the first part of the Nitro Blueprint System course gives you, by far, the most effective method I have discovered to find and tap into your “emotional want”. It has been proven to work for the most analytical engineers to the most free-spirited souls.

I can honestly say I am unaware of any online business system that even addresses this part within their training. And in my opinion, and I’m sure you will agree, based on real life experience and observation it sets you up for failure before you even get started.
Its very tough to succeed if you are not even given a chance to begin with.
Then, the second part of that key sentence is “truly believe it will work”.
It is my opinion, again based on real life experience and observation, that once you truly believe something will work, you also mentally make the commitment to follow through and do the work.
Would you agree that is true in your own life?
If you believe you can climb a 15 foot ladder, even though you are scared of heights, you will still follow through and climb the ladder regardless of the fear or uncertainty you have.
But if you do not believe it is possible for you to do it (in this case because of your fear) then you will not climb that ladder. You might make it up a couple steps but you will be permanently stuck on the second or third step because you never believed it was possible for you.
So what happens? Why is it like this?
One, you don’t see the -big picture- of what you are doing. You don’t know…
* how all the pieces fit together,
* what is the actual step-by-step process to follow,
* what are the steps and in what order do they come,
* and that you will be given the training you need to follow through and see results.
And that leaves you with the belief that it may not, probably not or even will not work for you. That’s the exact opposite belief that is required!
So you are only left with hope.
Hope is a VERY powerful emotion.
Hope is what allowed me to keep moving forward in my early years online even though I experienced painful failure after humiliating failure. From living off of ramen noodles and bologna sandwiches (with the McDonalds $1 value menu and a “middle of the room” video rental as my 1 weekend night “living the good life” entertainment.)
From having my first 3 sites being total failures. From making what now are obviously bone headed mistakes that cost me thousands of dollars in mistakes, but at the time I never knew any better because I had nobody to tell me.
I was fortunate, my hope was so strong it carried me through all the trial and error and failure I encountered in the beginning. That’s because there was no system for starting, launching and growing a successful online business, nor any people to guide me, when I was getting started in the mid 1990’s. I was on my own, left to fend for myself with only hope on my side.
But “hoping” your level of hope is high enough to carry you forward through all the crap out there is NOT what I recommend. There is a better way!

Now, what I am about to share with you is going one step further down the road of “telling it like it is”. And I am a bit nervous what the response will be to this blog post. (You are welcome to write your comments below.)
The Myth:
Some marketers of systems have the very false belief that people don’t want to work and are lazy, stupid dunces that want to sit on the couch, watching jerry springer while your bank account magically grows with money due to some secret silver bullet.
And that belief of selling to the lowest common denominator has proven to be very successful over the years for those marketer’s pocket books. But it is my opinion that belief they have sets you, the user of that system, up for failure and I choose NOT to accept it.
Here’s why.
If you buy into that belief, then you are sold by the marketer what the “lazy, stupid dunces that want to sit on the couch, watching jerry springer while your bank account magically grows with money due to some secret silver bullet” person would buy.
Even though…
(A) The person selling it actually worked their butt off to get to where they are at (the exact opposite of what they promise). And usually they got there by doing things completely differently from what they try to teach you.
And…
(B) What they teach would NEVER work if you were the “lazy, stupid dunces that want to sit on the couch, watching jerry springer while your bank account magically grows with money due to some secret silver bullet” because no matter what they say it still requires work and learning and gaining new experiences and skills to see the desired results.
And even if you are not that person it most likely would not work for you because of all the reasons talked about in the Dirty Laundry Report… the major problems with what a lot of people are trying to sell as “systems”

The Truth:
You ARE willing to work, even work long and hard, if you truly believe that work will pay off and provide you the results you emotionally want.
But there is an IF in there (and its a BIG if!)
If you are open to digging in deeper, let’s look at the items that come after that “if” qualifier because that is where the secret to your success lies.
Sound good to you?
First is “results you emotionally want”.
This is where it starts. If you are not emotionally committed to get the results you want (one of my mentors calls it a Core Desire in his best selling book The DNA Of Success) then the obstacles you WILL encounter WILL stop you.
If your desire to get that result is a 70 on a scale of 1 to 100, you will go along quite fine until you reach an obstacle at 71.
Have you ever become stuck trying to do something you were mildly interested in and the only solution was to give up and quit? This is a big reason why that happens. Your 70 level “want” lost out badly to the “90″ level obstacle.
That is why the first part of the Nitro Blueprint System course gives you, by far, the most effective method I have discovered to find and tap into your “emotional want”. It has been proven to work for the most analytical engineers to the most free-spirited souls.
And then, strategically throughout the Blueprint, it helps you build upon that emotional want so it is a strong 100 on your scale. And it also reduces the roadblocks so instead of them being 80’s and 90’s, they are 30’s and 40’s.
I have even given you a small 20 minute taste of these “builders and reducers” in the first 3 free videos of the 5-part series you have received so you could experience a small piece of it for yourself. I hope you have found them helpful?
I can honestly say I am unaware of any online business system that even addresses this part within their training. And in my opinion, and I’m sure you will agree, based on real life experience and observation it sets you up for failure before you even get started.
Its very tough to succeed if you are not even given a chance to begin with.
Then, the second part of that key sentence is “truly believe it will work”.

What will your life be?

Webster's Dictionary defines a secret as something kept from public knowledge; something mysterious that is beyond general knowledge or understanding.
If that were true then it would mean success is only possible for those few who have access to the great mysterious secrets of success. Nonsense!
People believe there are hidden secrets that will propel them to success. There are no secrets. There are truths, lessons, insights and actions you can take to get you where you want to be. They are not hidden, but neither are they dancing in front of you as you walk through life. You have to WANT to know them. You have to LOOK for them. You have to DO something with them once you know them.
Do you ever wonder what your life is going to be like in 1 year; 5 years; 10 years; 20 years; longer? Of course you do. Everyone does. As we begin this journey together there is a very basic truth you need to hear, and hopefully accept.
Your life will be whatever you decide to make it.
You have got a choice to make. Today. And every other day of your life.
Let me clue you into another secret of life. Where you are in your life today is a direct consequence of every decision you have ever made.
Ouch. I know. It was pretty tough on me when I had to face this truth. I did not like some of what I saw; other things I felt pretty good about. I figure we might as well get this out of the way right at the beginning. I have discovered it is best to face the reality of where you are starting from before you begin a journey. It is the only way you can know how far you have to go; or how far you have come.
So go ahead; take a few minutes (or longer) to think about these two secrets. You may discover the same kind of freedom I did. While it was tough to accept I am ultimately responsible for whatever the condition of my life is right now; there is also incredible freedom in knowing I have the power to make it anything I want it to be. Wow!
I get so tired of people complaining about their lives. Complaining they cannot do certain things because they are just not smart enough. Complaining they will never excel in anything because they just do not have the talent others do. Complaining they will never make much money because no one else they know does. It goes on and on.
I hear it all the time. People selling themselves short because they simply do not believe life will be exciting for them; they do not believe their dreams will ever come true. As long as they believe that; it will be true for them.
Okay, did you hear that? This is another so-called secret of life. If they believe it, it will be true for them. I did not say it was true. I simply said it was true for them because they have decided to believe it. That MAKES it true for them. Too bad!
Especially because the opposite is equally true. If you choose to believe in your ability to excel, to succeed, to make your dreams come true; then you will. Your decision to believe it makes it TRUE FOR YOU!
Today is a day you can use to change your life. To change the way you think about things.
Decide to believe your entire life is going to be an exciting adventure. Decide to believe you will be a success. Decide to believe today is going to be better than yesterday.
Decide and it will be TRUE FOR YOU!

Take the Emotional Journey First
Just like when you set your radio tuner on 98.6, you can’t hear what’s being broadcast on 101 FM: Your frequencies have to sync up. So, the frequency of your desire and the frequency of your day-to-day thought about your desire have to be on the same vibrational wavelength. And how do you know when it is? It feels good to think about it. How do you know when it isn’t? It doesn’t feel good to think about it.
So, it might be a good idea to start talking about where you’re going instead of about where you are, and where you’ve been. Because, as you talk about where you are, or about where you’ve been, that’s the signal that you offer—and that’s the signal that everything Universally is responding to. That’s why it feels sometimes like you’re stuck on this spot. You’re not stuck because things are always changing. But if it feels like you’re stuck, it’s because they’re changing to the same thing over and over again.
Your motor’s always running and the Universe is always responding to it, and wherever you’re pointed is where you’re going, and if you’re pointed to the past, then you’re just recreating more of the same, or if you’re powerfully looking at what-is, then you’re just creating more of the same thing. But if you are looking forward; if you are looking into the future; if you are looking for change; if you are looking for new, if you are looking for improvement, then that’s what’s coming to you—it has to be. It is illogical for it to be otherwise.
The Laws of the Universe are constant; they respond to you unerringly. You never get something that you are not a vibrational match to. It has never happened to anyone, and it is not happening to you.
You can get to wherever you want to be from where you are. And if you will stop trying to do it all at once, it will go better for you because Law of Attraction is the best friend that anyone has ever had, but it’s this consistent, fair-minded friend that always responds to your vibration so that you are never again confused about how things work.
Law of Attraction won’t pull strings for you. It won’t let you behave one way and attract another way. It will be so very consistent that you will—if you’re paying attention—learn exactly what it is you are doing that nets you the results that you are getting. In other words, with a little bit of paying attention to the way you feel, you will always know.
As Jerry and Esther travel between Phoenix and San Diego, their destination is San Diego. They are clear about where they are going. And as they get about half-way between Phoenix and San Diego, they find themselves in Yuma, Arizona—a nice enough place, but it is not where they are wanting to be. Yet, when they find themselves in Yuma, they do not get so disoriented about not being where they want to be, that they turn around and go back to Phoenix.
It’s really important that you understand the essence of this story, because what this story tells you is that because they understand this distance between Phoenix and San Diego, they don’t lose their way; they don’t lose hope; they don’t lose heart—they know that if they just keep pointed in the right direction and make some reasonable effort in moving in that direction, that—sooner or later—they’re going to be where they want to be.
We want you to understand that that is true of everything that you have ever wanted—whether it is a magnificent career; whether it is a magnificent relationship, a new one or improving one that already exists; whether it is attracting dollars, which feel like freedom, (so that you can do more of the things you want to do) whether it is an improved situation with your body… No matter what your desire is, no matter where you are, you can get from where you are to where you want to be—but you first have to make it an understandable journey.
Every journey—whether it’s from no money to tons of money; whether it’s from a really sick body to one that is magnificently well; whether it is from relationships that make you want to run and be a hermit in the desert to relationships that make your heart sing… it does not matter what your request is, every single time—it must be an Emotional Journey first.
Rather than saying, “I’m in deep, deep debt; I’m scared to death; I can’t pay my bills; I’m disappointing people who I care about; I’m disappointing strangers, and the strangers are making my life miserable, and I want more money,” instead, what you want to say is, “I want to go from the pain of not enough money to the feeling of freedom of more money. I want to go from the fear of a sick body to the feeling of security of a well body. I want to go from the anger and discord and frustration of an argumentative relationship to the joy and satisfaction of an open, communicating relationship.” Because if you will make it first an Emotional Journey, then we can show you how to change the way you feel, no matter what the topic. When you manage to change the way you feel, on any topic, you’ve changed your vibrational point of attraction and manifestation must follow. But until you make it an Emotional Journey, until you figure out how to change the way you feel even though circumstances haven’t changed yet—nothing changes.
Begin saying, I can get to wherever I want to be, but right now, I’m just going to reach for the best-feeling thought that I have access to—right now. And when you get there announce to everybody, “I am so angry I could wring your neck, and I feel so much better than I did earlier.” And then, if you have it within you, you might say to them, “I will try to restrain myself, but meanwhile, you might want to go someplace else. Eventually, I will be in frustration, and then, I will be in appreciation. But right now, I am in anger and I like it here. I did it on purpose.” And those are the key words… I did this on purpose.
Watch your children. Watch anybody who finds themselves in a place where they feel powerless. In fact, you know, this entire range of emotions… Oh, let’s talk about some of them. So, here is despair and powerlessness and then, not too far from that is a feeling of rage. And not too far from that is anger, anger, anger. There are lots of degrees of anger. And then, you can get into that place that you would call frustration-overwhelment. Then, you could get into pessimism, hopefulness, optimism… then, you could get into appreciation, belief, even those feelings that you call love, even those feelings that you call knowing, into that place that you call empowerment or Well-Being. And, of course, there are many, many words that we did not speak, and sometimes, the word doesn’t mean the same thing to you that it means to somebody else, but that’s the general vibrational range. We like to call it the Emotional Range.
On the far end of the Emotional Range, where you are truly Connected to who-you-really-are, there is one word that stands out above all others, and it is the word empowerment. It is the word free...being in complete alignment with the Energy that is You. The only place that freedom exists is in that vibrational place where you, who hold all of the power to you, (nobody else does) where you have discovered the way to create within yourself a pattern of vibration that allows you full Connection to who-you-really-are. That’s the only place that you can ever be free. Nobody else can give it to you; you have to do it to yourself. And, on the far other end of that is the feeling of disempowerment. It’s the feeling of powerlessness.
When do your children most act up? Is it when they feel empowered? Is it when they are inspired? Is it when they are full of themselves? Or, is it when they are being restrained? Is it when they are being told that they are inappropriate in some way?
As you pay attention to yourself or to anyone that you know, begin to notice that the feeling of empowerment is bliss, and the feeling of disempowerment is as far from bliss as you can get. And everything about your emotions is about that range, no matter what you call it.
So, as you make the decision that you are going to reach for the best thought that you have access to, there’s something very important that you have to decide right along with that. (Some of you are going to like the sound of this; others, it will frighten you.) You have to decide that you no longer give a rip about what anybody else says, because they’re trying to guide you from all kinds of other ways.
Sometimes people will say, “Abraham, you teach selfishness.” And we say, indeed we do because you have perspective of self; your Guidance System is about self; every point of Consciousness has this awareness of self. Think about it. If there are all of these Consciousnesses, and we’re not just talking about the human Consciousness, although we are mostly talking to you about that, but think about it. If every Consciousness, even the one-celled amoeba in the ocean, even the cellular Consciousness that is within you… if every point of Consciousness is reaching for what is best for it, must that not be what is best for the whole?
Humans think that there is competition. They think that you are in competition for the good stuff. “So, if somebody over there wants what’s best for it, then it might get it, and it might deprive you of what’s best for you.” But that’s not the way this Universe works. This is an expanding Universe that expands proportionate to the desire that is conjured within all Consciousness.
When you understand that there is no competition; nobody can get your good stuff, only you can allow it or disallow it, then you begin to understand that that’s how the Universe expands—you don’t need to worry about what anybody else is doing; they’re not getting your stuff.
You are the creator of your own experience and your dominant intention becomes a vibrational match with the Well-Being that flows... oh, that’s so much what we want you to hear. That’s why we call this gathering the Art of Allowing. When you don’t feel so good—you’re not letting it in. (the Well-Being that you want and deserve) The better you feel—the more you are letting it in.
When your mantra is, I’m going to start making the best of things; I’m going to make the best of it, what you’re actually saying is, No matter where I am, no matter what I’m focusing on, I’m reaching for the best thought that I can find, and when you’re in despair, the best thought that you can find might be anger, but you can find it. And when you find it and say, There, that feels better. Now, I’m going to still reach for the best thought I can find, it might be a thought of true frustration but you can find it. And when you find it, you will feel better. And then when you say, I’m still going to reach for the best-feeling thought I can find, it might be a thought of overwhelment; it might be a thought of blame…
Where is blame on the Emotinal Scale? So here is despair, and here is anger—where’s blame? Does blame improve your Connection or is there more resistance in blame? So, “I feel powerless and now I feel angry, and now I feel blameful.” Is blameful improving? It really is, isn’t it? “Now, I feel guilty. I feel guilty about being blameful, actually.” Did I move toward my Connection or away from it? [away] You see, you know this stuff. You know the way you feel. You can tell the way you feel.
So, somebody’s watching you, someone, from the outside, who has a list of rules and requirements to get into the good clubs, and they see you in your depression, and then they see your anger. Do they understand that you’ve made an improvement in your anger? Usually not. In other words, no one outside of you knows that you have made a vibrational improvement. No one knows but you.
And so, if you’re asking someone else to tell you the way to go, you will be lost in the desert because they’ll say, “Go that way. Go that way. Go that way.” They’ll tell you what they’ve done in their past; they’ll tell you what you’ve done in your past. In other words, you get so scrambled, you’re upside down and all around—but when you are paying attention to the way you feel, now you’ve made this an Emotional Journey. And when you make it an Emotional Journey, you’ll never again…you never…you knew…you already know. You can feel which way was an improvement.
It’s like, your cork floats on the surface of the water; that’s where you’re supposed to be. You can hold it under the water, but that’s unnatural, and when you let go, it’s going to bob back up to the surface. And you will, too, if you’ll pay attention to the way you feel and let your new mantra be, “Nothing is more important than that I feel good, but I’m not going to follow my bliss today. I can’t even see my bliss; I can’t even smell my bliss; I can’t even remember the last time I felt bliss. I’m not sure if I’ve ever felt bliss. I’ve never known anybody that felt bliss. I hate the idea of bliss! (fun) I hate everybody that’s ever been in bliss. I’m perfectly happy here in my rage.” And we say, good for you. Just make another statement that says, “I’ll only be here for a day or two because I know that there’s something that feels even better than this.” And then, keep reaching for it. And try to disregard anybody else’s response. And it is our promise to you, within a matter of hours (in many cases), certainly within a matter of a few days, you can go, on any topic, from wherever you are to wherever you want to be.
And this is the most important thing you will ever hear anybody say to you: Once you have made the Emotional Journey, the physical manifestation must follow—it is Law.
You can’t feel as good as you are going to begin feeling without doors opening everywhere; without smiles coming everywhere; without the Universe catering to you... People will watch you and say, “When were you anointed king of this world?” People will say, “I cannot believe the good things that happen to you! How is it that all of this wonderful stuff happens to you?” And you will humbly say to them, “Not only to me—to all of us. I’ve just figured out how to stop blocking it. I’ve practiced beating the drum of praising and appreciating. I’m beating the drum of making the best of things. I’m trying to make the best of everything. And, in doing so, I’m achieving vibrational alignment, more and more, every day, with the Well-Being that we all deserve. Now, I’m glad that it’s showing up in my life. I hope it’s not making you jealous, because it’s there for you, too.” Good.
Well, there isn’t anything else that we could ever give you that would be of one bit of value beyond that. That’s the whole thing: You’re good; you deserve good; good’s flowing to you; get happy—it will. We have enjoyed this interaction immensely.

So, it might be a good idea to start talking about where you’re going instead of about where you are, and where you’ve been. Because, as you talk about where you are, or about where you’ve been, that’s the signal that you offer—and that’s the signal that everything Universally is responding to. That’s why it feels sometimes like you’re stuck on this spot. You’re not stuck because things are always changing. But if it feels like you’re stuck, it’s because they’re changing to the same thing over and over again.
Your motor’s always running and the Universe is always responding to it, and wherever you’re pointed is where you’re going, and if you’re pointed to the past, then you’re just recreating more of the same, or if you’re powerfully looking at what-is, then you’re just creating more of the same thing. But if you are looking forward; if you are looking into the future; if you are looking for change; if you are looking for new, if you are looking for improvement, then that’s what’s coming to you—it has to be. It is illogical for it to be otherwise.
The Laws of the Universe are constant; they respond to you unerringly. You never get something that you are not a vibrational match to. It has never happened to anyone, and it is not happening to you.
You can get to wherever you want to be from where you are. And if you will stop trying to do it all at once, it will go better for you because Law of Attraction is the best friend that anyone has ever had, but it’s this consistent, fair-minded friend that always responds to your vibration so that you are never again confused about how things work.
Law of Attraction won’t pull strings for you. It won’t let you behave one way and attract another way. It will be so very consistent that you will—if you’re paying attention—learn exactly what it is you are doing that nets you the results that you are getting. In other words, with a little bit of paying attention to the way you feel, you will always know.
As Jerry and Esther travel between Phoenix and San Diego, their destination is San Diego. They are clear about where they are going. And as they get about half-way between Phoenix and San Diego, they find themselves in Yuma, Arizona—a nice enough place, but it is not where they are wanting to be. Yet, when they find themselves in Yuma, they do not get so disoriented about not being where they want to be, that they turn around and go back to Phoenix.
It’s really important that you understand the essence of this story, because what this story tells you is that because they understand this distance between Phoenix and San Diego, they don’t lose their way; they don’t lose hope; they don’t lose heart—they know that if they just keep pointed in the right direction and make some reasonable effort in moving in that direction, that—sooner or later—they’re going to be where they want to be.
We want you to understand that that is true of everything that you have ever wanted—whether it is a magnificent career; whether it is a magnificent relationship, a new one or improving one that already exists; whether it is attracting dollars, which feel like freedom, (so that you can do more of the things you want to do) whether it is an improved situation with your body… No matter what your desire is, no matter where you are, you can get from where you are to where you want to be—but you first have to make it an understandable journey.
Every journey—whether it’s from no money to tons of money; whether it’s from a really sick body to one that is magnificently well; whether it is from relationships that make you want to run and be a hermit in the desert to relationships that make your heart sing… it does not matter what your request is, every single time—it must be an Emotional Journey first.
Rather than saying, “I’m in deep, deep debt; I’m scared to death; I can’t pay my bills; I’m disappointing people who I care about; I’m disappointing strangers, and the strangers are making my life miserable, and I want more money,” instead, what you want to say is, “I want to go from the pain of not enough money to the feeling of freedom of more money. I want to go from the fear of a sick body to the feeling of security of a well body. I want to go from the anger and discord and frustration of an argumentative relationship to the joy and satisfaction of an open, communicating relationship.” Because if you will make it first an Emotional Journey, then we can show you how to change the way you feel, no matter what the topic. When you manage to change the way you feel, on any topic, you’ve changed your vibrational point of attraction and manifestation must follow. But until you make it an Emotional Journey, until you figure out how to change the way you feel even though circumstances haven’t changed yet—nothing changes.
Begin saying, I can get to wherever I want to be, but right now, I’m just going to reach for the best-feeling thought that I have access to—right now. And when you get there announce to everybody, “I am so angry I could wring your neck, and I feel so much better than I did earlier.” And then, if you have it within you, you might say to them, “I will try to restrain myself, but meanwhile, you might want to go someplace else. Eventually, I will be in frustration, and then, I will be in appreciation. But right now, I am in anger and I like it here. I did it on purpose.” And those are the key words… I did this on purpose.

Your Thanksgiving Assignments
Happy Thanksgiving!

It's nice to be one of the very few newsletters that has
it's own national holiday! And in two countries, since
both Canada and the USA celebrate Thanksgiving. It's
a reminder of how important gratitude is to both national
and personal happiness and prosperity.
So here's your Thanksgiving assignments, if you choose
to accept them. First, the easy one. Write out a list of
everything and everyone that you are grateful for in the
past year. Really feel the appreciation. Science continues
to prove over and over that appreciation creates amazing
health in the body and mind.
Second, write out a list of all the people and things from
the year that you are NOT grateful for, and find something
about them to appreciate. Why, you ask? Because we
know that resentment is poisonous! Clean it out and
replace it with appreciation. Your body will thank you.
Third, if you're going to a big Thanksgiving feast with your
family, with all the chaos and stress and family issues
that sometimes arise, try a new approach. Mentally
step back from the commotion, take deep centering
breaths, and love each person just as they are. Don't
judge them or try to change them, just love them.
Your family may wonder what happened to you, but
just smile. Trust me, I've tried this and it works!

The Big IF...
I read something today that challenged me so I thought I would send it on to you.... Enjoy - and be challenged!
People who do not succeed have one distinguishing trait in common. They know all the reasons for failure, and have what they believe to be airtight alibis to explain away their own lack of achievement.
Some of these alibis are clever, and a few of them are justifiable by the facts. But alibis cannot be substituted for actual success. Alibis will not take you to the end of your life with a filling of accomplishment, fulfillment and pride.
A character analyst compiled a list of the most commonly used alibis. As you read the list, examine yourself carefully, and determine how many of these alibis, if any, are your own property.
IF I didn't have a spouse and family.......
IF I had enough "pull"......
IF I had money.....
IF I had a good education.....
IF I could get a job.....
IF I had good health....
IF I only had time....
IF times were better....
IF other people understood me.....
IF conditions around me were only different.....
IF I could live my life over again....
IF I did not fear what "they" would say....
IF I had been given a chance....
IF I now had a chance.....
IF other people didn't "have it in for me"....
IF nothing happens to stop me....
IF I were only younger.....
IF I could only do what I want....
IF I had been born rich....
IF I could meet the "right people"....
IF I had the talent that some people have....
IF I dared assert myself....
IF I only had embraced past opportunities....
IF people didn't get on my nerves.....
IF I didn't have to keep house and look after the children....
IF I could save some money.....
IF the boss only appreciated me.....
IF I only had somebody to help me.....
IF my family understood me....
IF I lived in a big city.....
IF I could just get started....
IF I were only free....
IF I had the personality of some people.....
IF I were not so fat....
IF my talents were known....
IF I could just get a break....
IF I could only get out of debt...
IF I hadn't failed.....
IF I only knew how....
IF everybody didn't oppose me....
IF I didn't have so many worries.....
IF I could marry the right person....
IF people weren't so dumb.....
IF my family were not so extravagant....
IF I were sure of myself.....
IF luck were not against me....
IF I had not been born under the wrong star...
IF it were not true that "what is to be will be"....
IF I did not have to work so hard...
IF I hadn't lost my money.....
IF I lived in a different neighborhood....
IF I didn't have a past.....
IF I only had a business of my own....
IF other people would only listen to me....
IF * * * and this is the greatest of them all ....
IF you have the courage to see yourself as you really are, you would find out what is wrong with yourself, and correct it! Then you might have a chance to profit by your mistakes and learn something from the experience of others. You know there is something wrong with yourself, or you would have accomplished things and spent much less time building alibis to cover your weaknesses.
Building alibis with which to explain away failure is a national pastime. The habit is as old as the human race and is fatal to becoming all you want to be. It doesn't mean you have to "play the game". You can choose to be different.
I believe you have the courage to see yourself as you really are, and to quit hiding behind alibis.
It's up to you...

IF you have the courage to see yourself as you really are, you would find out what is wrong with yourself, and correct it! Then you might have a chance to profit by your mistakes and learn something from the experience of others. You know there is something wrong with yourself, or you would have accomplished things and spent much less time building alibis to cover your weaknesses.
Building alibis with which to explain away failure is a national pastime. The habit is as old as the human race and is fatal to becoming all you want to be. It doesn't mean you have to "play the game". You can choose to be different.
I believe you have the courage to see yourself as you really are, and to quit hiding behind alibis.

The Habit of Going the Extra Mile
An important principle of success in all walks of life and in all occupations is a willingness to GO THE EXTRA MILE; which means the rendering of more and better service than that for which one is paid, and giving it in a positive mental attitude.
Search wherever you will for a single sound argument against this principle, and you will not find it; nor will you find a single instance of enduring success which was not attained in part by its application.
The principle is not the creation of man. It is a part of Nature's handiwork, for it is obvious that every living creature below the intelligence of man is forced to apply the principle in order to survive.
Man may disregard the principle if he chooses, but he cannot do so and at the same time enjoy the fruits of enduring success.
Observe how Nature applies this principle in the production of food that grows from the soil, where the farmer is forced to GO THE EXTRA MILE by clearing the land, plowing it, and planting the seed at the right time of the year, for none of which he receives any pay in advance.
But, observe that if he does his work in harmony with Nature's laws, and performs the necessary amount of labor, Nature takes over the job where the farmer's labor ends, germinates the seed he plants and develops it into a crop of food.
And, observe thoughtfully this significant fact: For every grain of wheat or corn he plants in the soil Nature yields him perhaps a hundred grains, thus enabling him to benefit by the law of increasing returns.
